I repaired the valves and still have a leak at the lowest head in 2 zones. I’m wondering if the ball valve on the main line is not locking up properly. I will change the ball valve and go from there.

Are you sure you're not just seeing drainage, caused by gravity? It is normal for the lowest few sprinkler to "bleed" a bit immediately after that zone runs - it could just be a the water draining from the lines. If it is still doing that after several minutes, it probably isn't normal. You might also have an electrical problem, or a mechanical problem with one of the solenoids. The ball valve most likely serves as a water shutoff to the entire system (or sections of the system). Unless the ball valve is exercised during normal sprinkler operation, replacing it probably won't have any effect.

Awesome video. I've been trying to figure this out. Hopefully it works as well for me as well as it did for you....

I have 8 zones and I can only find three valves. Is that possible or I need to find valves buried somewhere?

Yes that is entirely possible. I like to keep the valves elevated but lots of contractors burry them or put them underground in a box
