Interesting about the bloodwood. Only tree I know is the dogwood. You can tell by its bark.

A very interesting video, amazing scenery out there. I look forward to your posts. A few questions pls -do you think I could drive your route's in a Sprinter 419 LWB? What map system are you using? what is your preferred drone? Thanks

Yes, the scenery is unique to that area. We don't have an electronic map system, just some old fashioned printed Hema books. I enjoy reading them sitting around at camp. Our drone is a DJI mini pro 3. I'm still learning about it. I think mostly the preparation of the van, and its overall weight is more important than the wheel base. Suspension that is not sagging under the load, good shocks, good tough tyres, and some skid plates. In our whole trip we have only come across 2 or 3 very tight corners that might cause you grief because of the length. Ours feels very big on small tracks and you are going to get scratches. I am assuming your van is a 4x4 or AWD. I guess a 2wd with tall tyres and a diff lock could do a lot of where we have been, but definitely not the Simpson, nor a few of the places coming up soon in our videos. Especially not Wunnumurra Gorge and the beach at Smithy's. I would not expect to take even a 4x4 LWB to Wunnumurra Gorge.

Thanks for the detailed reply Jodie and James. Yes AWD. I was looking to get the DJI Mini, thanks for that. Safe travels
