Sprinter Start Error Mystery Solved! It Now Starts but with the Wrong Key 🔑 but why?

Now check the rpms at cranking and fuel pressure at cranking. The wrong key is close enough to the steering column and it is picking up the signal

Well the wrong key was in my garage I only brought it later on off camera, so later on I started having 2 keys inside and that was not effecting my test results

You moved the transponder from the old fob, right? You need to move the key, pcb and the chip/transponder. Transponder is not part of the metal key. It's a small black pebble that lives inside the plastic housing

Yep 👍 that’s exactly what happened, because I was puzzled while uploading this video I brought the other key in, and took it apart and that’s when I noticed the transponder in the plastic housing, so the key I took apart was the one with my real circuit board, cause I was still thinking 🤔 that why was this happening and I knew I put correct circuit board in my key the first time, but not realizing my big mistake with not switching transponder and that was my big mistake, it’s nice that you know what really went wrong.

You need to switch the key to the other fob

I have done it, I switched the key to another fob and now it works! But do you know why that is? Cause now I know and will make a video showing what’s really going on and it has nothing to do with the circuit board, but I got a feeling you know what’s wrong
