Great video-thank you for putting it together? I recommend, if you can, that you put 15% of gross into a breakdown fund and 5% for routine maintenance. This will save your tail when the eventual breakdown occurs.

Yes, you pretty much need a minimum of 1mill liability.. 100k cargo for brokers to even deal with you.. Some do have insurance you can ride under as well. They'll usually charge you a weekly fee.. Good luck on your journey..

If you have the option to wait I personally would but then it all depends on your hustle bro.. It's still money out here..

Doing local is always good, being you get to sleep in your bed at night. I've been OTR a few times now and the best thing is the adventure of not knowing where you'll end up, both have an uncertainty of how much you'll make for the week or month. I never went under .90c per mile up to 1.30 which is pretty average ..

I was mainly running under the company Usko but needed my own commercial insurance and what ever I bided on a load I got a 100% of my bid but the would just put up to 10% on top of my bid for their company..
