Can you explain the difference between using the tips vs just rhe year round needles ?

You can use both. I use the needles later in the year as well. I feel the tips are stronger because they are fresher and you can squeeze more needles in a jar as they are all rolled up. I know there’s a difference in aromatic qualities so that tells you there’s a difference in medicinal qualities. But the needles are also medicine. Hope that’s helpful ❤️🌱❤️

I wonder then if you used a larger ratio of needles in a tincture than you would of spruce tips if that would make work as well

@@MakaelaJoy One of the joys of herbal medicine is that each tree is different and each year the needles and tips will be different. The only way you would know for sure is if you had them tested. But also who is to say more is better? Also it depends what you are trying to get more of? Have fun experimenting 💚♥💚
