Another winner! Quick simple projects like this one are a terrific way to take a break from more complex & demanding builds. Thanks for sharing the 'weathering' techniques.

Looks great 👌 certainly not necessary, but it’s definitely worth investing a few bucks, in some inexpensive sculpting tools. They make working with acrylic mediums, significantly easier/more efficient

Great technique very realistic. Years, maybe more like centuries ago, before these new materials were available, I had a Ford Tri- motor with skies and dog sled. I made the snow by using wall spackle, then made my skies pattern and dog with sled imprints before spackle dried. Then used baking soda and sprayed everything with flat clear spray. It looked great just like baking soda and spackle :-). I think I still have the Ford, base snow fell apart. Now I know how to do it right, Same technique would work for the Wright Flyer and Apollo program , ( your technique not baking soda) Happy Holidays

Wow your really good. My grandfather served in the Army. He was in the battle of the bulge. My grandma used to tell me stories about things he would write to her about. He saw some pretty horrific things. He talked about how they stole stuff like rations off dead German troops. Guess they did not plan very well for how far in troops would go as the marched towards Germany. I read where German troops would take parachuted in supplies to American troops.

Wow, your diorama is amazing and truly inspiring! Thank you so much for sharing the video of it. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is truly impressive, and it's clear that a lot of hard work and dedication went into creating this beautiful piece. I could spend hours admiring all the little details and imagining the stories behind each element. Keep up the fantastic work, and thank you again for sharing your talent with us!

What a blessing to see a new video! I am making my own Normandy diorama right now but i am having hard time scratchbuilding the house. Do you have any tips on how to cut xps foam to get a straight line? I don't really have any foam cutter neither the budget for it...
@SpruesNBrews

Thank you - and sounds like a fun project! Hmm... I don't have a ton of experience with XPS myself - but maybe you could over-cut the pieces a bit & then sand them down flat? Just a thought

I would recommend a good straight edge like a framing or T square and a utility knife with lots of blades. Just go slow and make multiple shallow passes. Practice and you will get there.

Hi, i am thinking of starting After building as a Child and later train Houses as an adult. I know Most from Building the houses and don’t have painting Skills. I want to start with the Tamiya Sherman Tank. Do you have a Video on painting something similar? I own revell glue with a needle. Is that good enough? Regards Jan Willem

I'm positive that you have become better with experience, but how difficult is cleaning out your airbrush. Now, this is years ago, my late dad was a tool and die maker, and he liked to tell me how much time it would take me to clean out an airbrush. I'm sure that 40 years later it has to have been made easier, hasn't it?

Not clear why you applied the static grass at the beginning along with painting only to then completely cover it all over with the snow paste ! Seemed like a waste of time and materials to me.
