The scale as seen in your example at 1:00; a) 1=Never b) 4 = Sometimes c) 7=Always. Numbers 2, 3, 5, and 6 are not named/labelled. How do code responses to a similar question if the respondent chose 3 or 6 (or the other unnamed/unlabelled options).

That was just a keyboard copy/paste. I copied the 'nominal' from the top field; selected the 'unknowns'; and pasted it. 👍🏼

Can Chronback alpha be used for (1:33 Multiple choice questions with one correct answer) ? I have seen examples of usage of Likert scale only with Chronback alpha to test the reliability of test, but I want to test the reliability of Type: Multiple choice questions with one correct answer. Please help if possible.

How do you "make up" random data? I want to make a chi sq on an already made survey where I have hundreds of responces, do I have to fill them in one by one or there's a quicker way? For example I've got 100 commuters answering that they always take the bus, 50 sometimes and 30 never, could I put these in in chunks somehow?

@@jaishreegarg8089 hi, I'm afraid I don't remember exactly what my assignment was (I'm studying full time so this was many exams ago) but I think I eventually calculated it by hand and in Excel instead as there's a chi2 function coded into the program

Yes you can. For most analyses, 1 and 2 would work just fine. Although the standard practice would usually be 0 for no and 1 for yes. If you need to, you may quickly recode 1 and 2 into 0 and 1 in SPSS... :-)
