I dunno. A friend could help you move but if you don't have a friend to help you, you can pay someone for the service of moving. It's expensive but at least it's an option. A friend could help you point out why your approach sucks, or if you don't have any friends with that ability (or desire to tell you uncomfortable truths), you can pay for someone else' help. I have thought this about some loser who was creepy and not successful in love himself who was targeting specifically nerdy Chinese immigrant guys and thought it was despicable, especially he was charging way more. But her classes don't sound too crazy expensive and just her example skit shows that she might actually have something helpful to say.

You would think that someone opening up a dating coaching platform has at the very least a Master's in counseling, marriage/family therapy, or some type of credential. Her origin story being she was just bored during the pandemic and started this business is heartwarming, but if I were a guy, I'd want someone who understands relationships on the clinical level. But what do I know? Also, $6k for 6 sessions? The internet is free. I also didn't hear her talk about whether men succeeded in finding relationships after taking her course/what the data is on men getting their ROI. this is super cringe
@noelr10102 ай бұрын
Nowadays, you get a whole bunch of inexperienced ppl claiming to be experts, when in reality they know nothing. And we all start somewhere, my issue is misleading ppl and charging as if you are an expert. I see a lot of ppl like this in the web development/design world. What sucks is that some ppl actually buy into them, since they don't know better. These ppl are messing with ppl's livelihood.
@henrypeters52912 ай бұрын
The whole point of this is to help guys get dates, not necessarily relationships. The real problem is because of apps like Tinder and Bumble, dating is hyper competitive these days so she is helping guys better market themselves so that they can get more dates. And successful relationships are actually her enemy because if a guy gets married, that is at least five years before he rehires her.

If she’s the one who’s giving all these dating tips how do you even protect a business like that? Also if she’s training others on how to give these dating tips so it’s not all on her to help every single customer .. what’s stopping one of the people she hired to just not quit and take all the knowledge she taught them and make a competing business doing the same thing?

Bad investment for many reasons: (a) She is not a qualified psychologist or psychiatrist and is not licensed to provide family counseling or any form of help (b) Her business model is based on exploiting incels and desperate men leveraging her appearance without actually offering any real value back (c) If customers sued her arguing (a) and (b), and that her "coaching" caused damages, she'd potentially be in millions in debt This kind of business model is not one that you'd want to scale because it gets more likely that (c) will happen as you scale

At time of filming this company I feel realistically had a valuation between $1.5-$2 million based on profit and sales. $100k x10 = $1 million. So if they invested with expectation to double say in a few years then that's OK. Some what on the cheap side based on long term potential but honestly with her being the product is just too risky for me

to have someone "help" you date is just a breakup waiting to happen, this is not a relationship idea.
