I always thought the same thing as Mark Cuban. Royalty deals are just the sharks way of not wanting to pay for their share of the company. And Lori is just a baby for quickly going out before the deal is struck with two other sharks.

Its not exactly as Mr Cuban said. It's more like a 0-interest loan with a guaranteed payment schedule (on each sale). It is useful to have up front capital, and only pay it back when you have real revenue. But yes at the end of the day the investor buys their share for no money and very little risk.

Well yea.. why as a Shark would I want to just throw away $250k to a non proprietary brand in the toughest consumer market. He is the richest shark so its his way of flexing and saying he has enough in the bank he doesnt have to offer such offers.. There is nothing wrong with a royalty deal as long as the royalty leaves the business enough room for growth and errors.

I have a homemade repellant that works (found it online): in a four oz base of witch hazel add 32 drops of lemon eucalyptus oil (that's ONE kind of oil). I'm a mosquito magnate and it really works but you have to get it on all the skin; don't miss a spot. It smells nice and even the kids are ok with it. If you try it, let me know how it works for you. (You can add a bit of vanilla but I make it without.) Aloha!

very good sales person terrible buissnes model. her problem is a very comon one the same actualy i faced before i started my hard asset buissnes jurney i had launched a beverage company i got wiped out within a year of operation. heres why: 1) terrible margins ( she dosent have that problem ) 2) in order to get distribution you need to prove there are sales on your product thus you need to spend all you cash flow in customer aquisition cost just to be considered by distributors. 3) when you finaly hit the retail space then you just understand that exclusivity deals are everywere and is a matter of time before you lose shelf space. thus you would be lucky to just get your money back on the buissnes. as i understand she has the problem that she has proven sales she is losing money as i mentioned and distributors still wont operate with here because most of them have exclusivity deals with other big companies thats why she is on shark tank but that wont save her in the long run. i hope god blees you all and your families 🤲
