The last scene... Mark was so quick that even no one was ready for that. He closed the folder and the deal as soon as the counter offer resembled what he thought of, no waiting for others to consider it. and this is why i find him the most confident.

Marks a genius for what he did on that first pitch. He knew Robert made a decent offer so he pretended to hate it and that got in Robert’s head so he went in with Kevin at 1/3. 10 seconds after that offer was made mark swooped in and made the same offer Robert did 😂. Look at the look on Robert’s face after mark made that offer he knew he just got out businessed by a master

4 years after the episode was aired in 2014, in 2018 Rugged events (Rugged maniac) was mostly sold to a newspaper giant. GateHouse media acquired 80 percent stake of the business and the rest remained in the hands of founders. Mark Cuban sold his stake double the price he bought it at first. Now Rugged maniac is still operating very well and strong.

The lawsuit led to them selling the company to 13th floor entertainment group.

10:35 We went out there and discussed it. 10:37 We’d like to eventually strike a deal with you. 10:40 We wanted to come back in and say listen, we do two million for the 25 percent. 11:11 We took that offer from Mark because we realize that Mark offers more than just money. 11:16 Mark offers his experience, he offers his connections. 11:20 Well done. 11:24 I’m actually surprised that they came down.

Women as soon as he heard 1 million. When you are dealing with high shares the amount you are getting is not the main concern. When you are dealing with equity If you are valuing 1M for 10% 20% for 2M is not a good deal for the entrepreneur. The amount of equity lost nowhere near, offsets the amount you are getting. That is if the company or business is successful.

As an independent business consultant, I notice that a common issue is that the inventor doesn't consider the value of the investor. You should study your investor, very well.

Lot of times entrepreneurs want to make a deal with Mark because a) heil is a successful businessman b)He can pump in more money as the business grows c) connection which i guess all of them have. What i don't like about Mark is that he keeps the entrepreneurs hanging giving them hope that he is going to make an offer by just keeping quiet and while all the other sharks do their bids and still their offers are not accepted hoping that Marks is gonna give them a better offer....all sharks go out ..then boom...Mark goes out too....
