Sully island, used to walk over there when the tide was out with my parents as a kid. I went around the island on that fishing trip I went on recently from penarth marina. I wonder if there's any fish in that nice section of the river you found 😊

You should go up the path next to the barrack hill allotments, if you follow the path and when it takes you up to the 2 paths the left one leads you to a park at the top of barrack hill with a massive view of the city :)

Great content! Love your vlogs. I grew up in the newport and risca area ,left for canada when i was a kid 30+ yrs ago,great to see all the areas i remember growing up, surprisingly hasn't changed too much ,keep up the great work

The best curry sauce I've tried in Newport is Kon Seto Chinese takeaway by Somerton. Nothing else comes close.
