Oh my but I love the look of those textured sheep. Can’t wait to see them all gussied up with color and adornments. What a great way to melt our cares away and think through our lives. I can spend hours just watching this art form! I love all your visits no matter the content. Tea time with Jeri is my absolute favorite visits. I hope I’m not the only one who enjoys the variety of content you share with us because I would miss the variety. I used to cross-stitch and decoupage for hours before Hunny got so sick but now it’s almost easier to dream about my hobbies than to actually participate but one day things will settle back down. I often wonder what James is spending his time doing during all your hobby sessions for gardening and art take up many of our hours in a day. My husband is/was an avid builder of all things from bird houses to furniture to house repairs so I always was sure to cut my day off when he came in for the day singing “hunny I’m home and I’ve had a hard day” knowing he enjoyed himself every bit as much in his shop as I did with needle and thread. We would have lovely dinner conversations about our day at dinner and beyond. With your home and yard, like most of us, it takes many hours to keep up and it isn’t always light work!!! Anyway…I love seeing you pop up in my feed so I can take a few minutes of downtime to enjoy a cup of tea and whatever content you provide so until next visit….!!!:):):)

That sounds so nice, you and your hubby. My James has slowed down quite a bit as he has some health issues. I usually do my art and craft work in the same room he is in, usually he is reading or studying something in the Bible.

These are wonderful videos for the winter months. Very interesting to watch and hear u speak on how to make. Plus for crafty/artsy type people it'd be a new adventure to try their hand at. I am looking forward to learning about the painting process and clothing pieces you might add on them. A small collection of these would be a great gift for just about anyone. You could do a set for a manger scene, a set for a doll house collector, Christmas ornaments or anything you think of. A pretty wooden box to store/gift them in would be a nice finishing touch I think. So many possibilities! Thank you so much for sharing such interesting content with us. Very much appreciate all you do. 💜🥀

Even though I absolutely love gardening, I love all the different interests you have and share with us all. I used to think I should have focused on one thing, and got really good at that one particular interest, but there are too many wonderful things to do!!! I just want to do them all!!! Thank you for such inspiration ♥️

You are right about there being SO many great arts and crafts to pursue; I know of at least half a dozen art-forms that I really love and there isn't enough time in the day to pursue all of them. I have a basket of half finished needlework, countless illustrations,etc,etc, etc. that I never seem to get done. This craft is a keeper!

Really enjoyed your demonstration and discussion on your thought process of creating these adorable little cuties! Your suggestion of having some source or type of reference of body structure for the animals makes total sense! I was thinking of all the small plastic farm animal toys children play with. Jeri! The ears on that sheep are absolutely adorable! I heard myself chuckle out loud when you showed her. This is a very charming craft and it's interesting to learn about where it comes from. I would bet veggies and such can be made with that cotten application as well. I'm thinking of Easter items; carrots, cabbages ... Could one cut strips and weave a basket with the stiffened bits? OH, I have a package of plaster of paris tape somewhere in the back of my closet, and the ideas you've spurred in my mind is outrageous! hahahaha

Thank you Jeri! Another great tutorial. Did you end up finding more of the pipe cleaners that you like? I think the ones you are using are 4mm. They are not as fuzzy. The only ones I could find here in Canada are from Amazon by Creativity Street.

My friend contacted me about the source, but they no longer carry this size. So thank you, I will loo for the 4mm size. The cotton pipe cleaners work well, those actually made for cleaning pipes

I had a question about gardening, I saw how you plant so many tulips in containers, so can you still plant any flowers in them after the tulips are done as well as in the garden … can you plant where they grow?
@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow8 күн бұрын
@@ritaswift8313 Absolutely! The bulbs are planted deeply. As the tulip leaves and stems yellow, put seeds or young plants in the pot with them.

Interesting process and lovely craft. The close-ups are hard to watch, they are so blurry it hurts my eyes. It would be nice to actually see the details of what you''ve done. Alot to take in in one sitting. I'd rather see start to finish of one animal.
