I think the big difference from last year especially early season is that teams don't really press us high at all anymore. Last year we would create huge chances when teams pressed us high as our build up play is really strong, we'd be able to play through the press and create a transition. I think that part of our game is still really good, teams just don't allow these phases of play to happen. So our only way of creating chances now is to break down a team with everyone behind the ball which we are really stuggling at.

This podcast has changed ever since the transition to KZbin. It has become less of a stream of thought from Jack, with him musing and riffing on his own ideas, to now kinda doing a live reaction to KZbin comments after a spurs game. Not a bad thing per se, but it has definitely changed the dynamic of the podcast. Maybe that’s why it comes across as a bit more reactionary these days. Literally because Jack is reacting to other peoples input.

Yeah Jack, we're here for your yidiotic stream of consciousness, makes us feel better. Spurs online universe is a vile pot of angst best left alone. #coyfs

Think we're in trouble myself and Maddison not good enough as main playmaker.

I thought Kulusevski was shocking in the 1st half lol. Constantly lost the ball. Much better 2nd half.

Ange isn’t beyond criticism and I hate the narrative of people saying they can’t criticise him because it’s not true. Fake news 😂. It’s simple what do you actually want. Fans saying that they don’t want him sacked but then go in on him for his philosophy and structure. I’m confused genuinely. None of are attackers are world class. So it will be frustrating but we have to be patient as there is no other option. By all means be angry (I am) but we have to choose whether we are all in or not because that’s what it will take. We have the owners we have and spend the money we spend so it’s either stop supporting spurs till we are bought by a Saudi prince or try to believe in this manager.
