We are too familiar with Timo's quick counter-attacking style, but when facing opponents who play with a large number of defenders, I think we should let Timo run into the center and make passes with his right foot. Timo is very fast and skillful in holding the ball and running into the center to attract people very well.

This is exactly why Ange should sub in Moore rather than Werner. I'm not saying Werner was absolute dog piss but he's finished no confidence at all after all the chances he's given him. Moore on the other hand is a homegrown 17 yo, I can't see why you guys are still defending Werner. Moore's definitely higher in the pecking order

Quiet game but pardon me, respect to Troy Parrott but I think we just found the next West Ham. Throughout the game, Al Alkmaar is just another way worst version of West Ham with a hint of Leicester even. By I mean the low, low, lowww block but the pace, will, and balls to cement all 10 men behind their own half/in the box. We could have been way more comfortable exploiting the spaces if our players didn't get congested by 2 - 3+ players. Not the prettiest of wins but we have worst (Coventry cough cough...) but Richy back on the scoresheet, that's good. Werner may need more 1 on 1 practice drills, and maybe whatever best psychiatrist we could afford...Worst 1 on 1 shot ever.
