Exactly , just think in the future if a side in a cup final goes behind and a man down , which prem team would you back to have the belief to turn it around?. Any other manager , pundit would have employed low block after 7 mins today probably conceded loads of chances and lost anyway with zero hope of scoring . , yet Ange dared to do and did. Brilliant and a huge boost to belief in the future. I love listening to pundits including Glen who just cannot get their head around it .

I think Ange needs time and will have Spurs purring . Gunners down to 10 to City vs Spurs down to 10 against Qarabak you can’t compare . City would have put away those opportunities. Following and watching THFC was as always a roller coaster ride. Waking up at 2:30 am only to find out the game would be delayed. Watched the Ranger match, painful for a Celtic follower. Eventually a 45 min delayed start time. Team down to 10 men, the penalty shot(should’ve, could’ve) over the bar, so many missed scoring opportunities (usually thats us), the pressure Q continually put on our defence when clearing the ball out, the empty space that Q could run into on the counter attack. The spur’s poor ball handling, the sloppy passes? Waiting and guessing on Ange’s subs from the 63 min mark. I’m going to take the positives, the players that needed the match time got it and stayed on on the pitch, there was some play coordination, rhythm and linking happening that was absent against Coventry, the clean sheet win. Many of the players will have a take away list of what to work upon.

Enough with Gray at right back. It's not his actual position, and you can see it. He doesn't really know how to defend. We should play him as a 6, and probably sell Bissouma next window. I know Gray played there in the championship, but it still feels like square pegs in round holes. Spence can back up Porro, Gray can back up Bentancur. Full backs need to know how to defend, and playing Porro there is already pushing it too far.

I concur with Barnaby. The young man gave it everything he had and the mistakes he made he will learn from, he never stopped trying the whole game and more importantly didn’t drop his head when those mistakes happened. Even when he went down towards the end of the game and grabbed his shin, he jumped up and carried on. Do you want to bet the young man will be training on how to get out of traps in the back 3rd? The mistakes shouldn’t subtract from the good things he did and he did plenty that was quality. Also, he needs to grow and this game was the perfect avenue for him to do that. Ange had trust in him and left him on the pitch you should ask yourself why?

You make to much fuss about just been down to ten men. I remember when we won a game a few years ago in the the Prem scoring two goals with just 9 men against eleven . I have seen so many games when ten have beaten eleven Vicario had to come out because we had no defence as per normal. Biss is unfortunatey is typical of his type of player. l would definitely sell him. You can not compair the Arsenal game to this game it's a different class of football at this stage in the competition. Poch, Hoddle, Joel would have killed to have this squad and would honestly do a better job. I love Anges personally but you have to look pass the mind con if you know what this means. It's not about how he makes you feel listening to him It's the end product and not getting sucked in by him. Many famous people have mind coned people in the past.
