I would add that another career might open up for him if played deeper in the midfield, in his last game against Brentford a couple of his through balls and passes were of the highest order. His final pass to Madders in Brentford game was a real peach. Perhaps he has played at the longest at highest level of quality consistently i have seen, perhaps i have see another player who was, but i can't remember who it was. You're completely disregarding the London pull and the Tottenham pull. Yes, he is more likely to win trophies at Yanited, but does he really want to live in Manchester after 11 years in London, and play in that shithole with the leaky roof? Not to mention the challenge pull - he will be significantly bigger a hero if he wins something here than if he wins something with Yanited. He's staying on his own accord; nothing to do with his agent.

I would love to see Sonny more towards middle along with Maddison. Unfortunately, he seem to lack the explosiveness on the side as winger compared to previous seasons but his key pass are getting more clinical. If we are able to find a new left winger then imagine putting Maddison and Sonny in the middle, Kulu on the right and comes into center, Porro goes wide to distribute the balls and Solanke at the top. I think that would be very exciting attacking team.
