A big part of our great number of wins finishing last season was Mamu. He was really strong, had great presence on the floor, and had a great rapport with Wemby.. I'm really surprised Pops hasn't continued that through to the beginning of this season

Weirdly enough I am quite happy that Tre's injury happened during Vassel's. We're 1-2 but not only did we scrap one win, but also invested quality time in Castle and Blake. This will hopefully be an investment for the future. Malaki has a good game once in a blue moon. And even then he does not impact winning. We need a replacement. CP3 was a liability in the 1st half and you could see how serious he is about getting better with this team.

It’s fun seeing wemby attempt an half court shot once in per 2 months but not when he’s attempting 1 per game.

I've watched several of these recaps dating back to last season. Good stuff, nice summaries of the games. My only complaint is Ethan always says lackadaisical with an S. Like lackSadaisacal. Jude says it right though so it's ok. Lol.

Two remarks : 1. Have you seen the body langage of Wemby during the postgame interview ? This guy isn't well. He should rest against OKC as we should lose this one (it won't happen because of ESPN but...) Wemby didn't drive at all. He had only 2 Ft !! Hope that he could rest to be back Wemby... I definitely fear the matchup with Chet who is 200% of his capabilities. 2. A so openned 3-point corner is more than 50% in. The main pb with Keldon is that it is 0% with him (especially when it matters). We lack of dagger's delivery in the Spurs roster. The last dagger i remember should be from Mamu against Denver. But the one before.... don't remember

Exactly I didn't watch this all the way through but wimpy with shine away when it got physical which he hurt the Spurs chances of winning this game all that hype and all that talking he doing he needs to prove it on the court and stop taking all these bad shots and jumpers when you 7 ft 5

The Spurs did the same thing last year against the Rockets. Beat them the first time with that double block by wemby, then played the rocket next time rocket blew us off the map. i knew it would be a lost and won 100 dollars, sorry spurs fan, but money comes first over loyalty. I seen this story too many times not to capitalize on this opportunity

I really liked the Wesley/Castle/KJ energy squad that was out there bring us back in the third, but those guys need to be next to Wemby/Mamu/Malakai to add enough scoring to the lineup. Wesley should be getting more minutes he makes very few mistakes and does a lot of positive. Would like to see less of Barnes. Also we should put Mamu in the game next to Wemby at times to add more spacing for Wemby to operate
