That nostalgia when you go back and watch two of the best teams play from 05. I miss not knowing who was going to be in finals. I miss the level of competition from no. 1 seed all the way down . This era is my favorite ( sorry mj and the 90s). We had Bron, Nash, Shaq, Kobe, Melo,D Wade, Dirk, Duncan, T Mac, Jason Kidd, A.I., VC and Yao just to name a few. You could argue among this era played at least 3 if not 4 top 10 players of all time in Kobe, Bron, Duncan and Shaq. Now it's like who you got? Warriors or Rockets? Cavs or Celtics? Super teams taking away the best part of basketball. Competition. Missing the good ol days....

The Spurs didn’t ‘dismantle’ the suns. Someone gave Robert Horry the green light to take Nash out - very blatantly and intentionally- at a time when Amare was on the bench - w/other necessary Suns players- they were going to leave the bench when this happened and they got suspended- Nash out- best teams top players suspended.. Gee who won? Lol. David Stern had an agenda against Nash. Over leading a players rebellion against the synthetic basketball. This cost Stern, the league money on contract kickbacks. The commissioner’s office was going to let the spurs win.. no matter what. The Spurs could play w/out Horry - the Suns could not play an injured Nash and suspended players. Robert Horry had never done anything of this nature In his career. He had a respectable career up to this point… He was told to do this. Amare lost motivation. And when Amare did not have Steve Nash and the Mike D’Antoni offense- He did not play run and gun - pick and roll first option basketball on other teams and he lost motivation
