I noticed that the "copy bank" feature can also copy to a different project, super useful!

Thanks for this, I know I'm going to be referring back to this a lot. I definitely need to try using my MK2 once a day so these all become second nature
@spvidz14 сағат бұрын
Yeah it’s definitely hard remembering all these. Keep finding new ones too 😅

Cool, I love all these cool shortcuts.

The one shot mode is very neat for making ambient track using the pattern mode, since longer sample will finishing playing before restarting. So you can have like an asynchronous "self-generated ambient pattern"

This is very helpful. Thanks for the good video!! I picked up the 404mk2 a few months ago and have been absolutely loving it. Thanks to you and you videos 🙏

Awesome. Pretty much use mine in some way almost every day. Its a great machine for the price

Awesome video once more. I'm not sure if you have already shown this one but a really useful shortcut is shift+copy for protecting the bank you've just finished. So you can perform but cannot change anything.
@spvidz3 сағат бұрын
I use that a lot yes. I have covered it before in another video. It’s a good one 👍
@YotisGordios2 сағат бұрын
@spvidz me too. Thanx for the reply and keep doing what you do!

Thank you! There are other short cuts that I often forget about as well. Will you be doing a part 2 or a follow-up to this? Aslo are you running 4.07? If so how is your experience with it? I haven't noticed anything but its nice to know what to look out for. Thanks again
@spvidz3 сағат бұрын
I drop these kind of videos now and again mainly to remind myself 😆 I’m on 4.07 yes. Not noticed anything yet but only been on it 1 day
@Eight-Bit-Hustler10 сағат бұрын
Nice work! I actually learned a couple new ones here like copying banks. I had forgotten all about pressing Copy while in the pitch settings… I was thinking it was Remain for some reason!? Also just a little something you could add into part two is holding Exit and tapping an individual pad that’s playing can silence only that pad! You make a very good point about the 404-2 lacking a side chain! It would really be a welcome addition!
@artisans85217 сағат бұрын
And forget a few others....it's a bit overloaded.
@Eight-Bit-Hustler6 сағат бұрын
@ I know… For real!? 😳 I swear… I’m thinking of just laminating all the shortcuts and making a cheat sheet! I think they make an aftermarket skin with the new shortcuts and shift commands on it. I might eventually make a new template made up, but I’m not sure all the commands are finished rolling out yet! 😂
@spvidz3 сағат бұрын
Nice about the single pad, didn’t know that 👌

What are the absolute basics to get started? I’m getting a 404 next week ❤
@spvidz17 сағат бұрын
learn how to record/import sounds on to pads, and then how to sequence those sounds. Thats a good place to start, then just keep using it and learning additional features to help that processs
