SPX25 Vibratory Plow

The SPX25 by Vermeer Corporation is an ideal machine for cable/fiber and irrigation contractors. The plow is operated with a full-function remote control that provides greater maneuverability in congested and tight jobsites. A 25 hp (18.6 kW) Kohler gas engine provides ample power for both plowing small pipes and cables at depths of 12” (30.5 cm) or less and boring underneath driveways and sidewalks.

wonder how many times the remote dropped signal. also like how the camera cuts before the blade got to the root of the tree lol cool machine for the first 150 hours, they cant take much abuse.

I bough this machine. Works well but super irritating that you have to be behind the machine (opposite of the plow) in order to use the controller without it dropping signal and having to constantly enter the pin again. I can’t see the plow if it’s trying to rip on a root or big rock. Been that way since new and has less then 45 hours on it

if you cant see the plow going through solid objects, youre doing it wrong. you need to pull the plow up usually to get thru things, sitting there with the plow buried and not moving the machine is a good way to destroy whatever cable you may be running lol

@@officialaustenmorpho3224 you’re misreading what I was saying. The idea of remote is to have a 360 view but if I’m forced to stay in a certain spot because it’s the only way it connects then it’s a different problem.
