You're right, the stuff with handler and Yuri in that first episode were extra stuff from the manga not actual chapters. That's why they were kind of random and short.

Hm, so, it seems like Episode 17 really did just cover Chapter 25 alongside a Short Chapter (that being Short Chapter 5) like I was expecting, however apparently it also covered Vol. 5’s Confidential Files (Bonus) as well, for a moment there I didn’t think the Anime would cover those, a interesting surprise to say the least. Anyway, from here on, the actual Plot of the Midterm Exams Arc will begin for real starting from Next Episode, let’s see how well the Anime will cover it.

I think people forget that Lloyd is a bad guy and is immoral when it comes to using people for his "greater mission". In the first episode it was established he spent a lot of time with that lady he was using as a cover. Enough time for her to wonder about marriage. Instead of just leaving out of the blue (which is still messed up) he publicly shamed her and insulted her before leaving. I wouldn't put it past him to do the same to Anya, Yor and Bond.
