Bought Ram when she was $12 a piece. A week ago, Anya was $8 a piece. I regret having to spend $36 extra for the three copies I didn't pull now instead of jumping on them at release.

@@kakashijr193 For English sets, right now at least, it's smart money to scoop up extra copies of the relevant RR brainstormers for any new set you get into. They usually end up being staples.

9:37 In a way the yor backup is anti-synergistic with the fiona combo; since you're likely to have a cx on top of deck going into the opp's turn, it makes it more awkward if you want to back up on the first attack. Generally it's worth it to just pay the 1 stock in that case (the refund being optional), but if the set had a 1/0 2k backup I'd probably run that over this (or maybe 2 of that and 1 of this or something; being a choice target is still nice, and of course sometimes the combo doesn't see a cx).

Thank you for this deck profile. It's been a great base to start from for building a Spy x Family deck with using 8 pants build. I've been opting to use the level 0 Loid that adds extra stock from hand instead of the level 0 pitch 2 Yor. 2 copies of it helped me to maintain enough stock (especially if i have a game where I'm using the Sylvia clock twin drive multiple times) Just wondering, how much of a gap would you say there is between using the Loid top end vs the Anya top end? I've been using the Loid top end and the cancel burn has helped so much in closing out games and sniping climaxes. Plus the level 0 Sylvia is so good (maybe busted?) for building extra stock, keeping stock clean, deck speed and converting climaxes to playables. Would these factors outweigh the Anya level 2 stabilization and consistent damage or could it be decided based on the current meta? Thanks again for the helpful content :)

I would say that Anya is worth looking into if you value being able to push damage at level 2 with her Topcheck 3 climax combo, to put the opponent in a potentially more uncomfortable position from taking more damage than expected. There's also a lot of weight placed on how likely you think the Early Play'd Anya can be protected, how many decks have antichange counters/ways to hard remove EP level 3s, etc. Pound for pound Triple Loid is easier to pull off and more lethal than a comparable Anya L3 turn, but has a weaker Level 2 game where they rely on just Fionas and the EP Family healer while amassing resources for level 3. I think both endgame options are valid. I personally favor the Loid endgame currently, if not for the fact that I think green splash in really strong with the Level 1 TD Loid bomb to deal with Chainsawman and other Spy Family decks. Typically, Anya topends have no room to splash green. You've already checked out our gameplay video pertaining to both Fiona variants, so you can work with those lists and our thoughts in that video to shape your own deck!

@@TressasCollectibles The Fiona mirror video was one of my favorite games to watch on the channel (I go back to it multiple times as a reference point for piloting the deck). That game also highlighted the crazy utility from the loid helmet and the clock bomb Loid, so I added more helmets and clock bomb Loid to my deck based on that video as well I think one issue I was facing against a friend of mine who was playing Azur Lane with really large level 1s and 2s, it was difficult to maintain my Fiona's during level 2 (even with Yor backups and global bond). There were times when I had to sacrifice a lane with an extra Anya brainstorm to maintain board on the next turn and keep up the Fiona power on defense. Maybe I'll try the Anya level 2 play to see if it helps with mitigating a weak level 2? It felt like my games lived or died based on reliance on the Fiona level 1s for around 80 percent of the game. Thanks so much for the response, it was really helpful and gave a lot to think about in regards to the game :)

@@MHJLee90 Any version of the Fiona build will mostly live or die on the Fionas sticking around for at least a turn, you have to prioritize the backrow setup and finding a counter very highly. It's a high investment setup that takes a couple turns to pay dividends. You'll be on the backfoot no matter which topend transition into if you lose the Fionas quickly. The Anya topend with the EP change will probably allow you to crawl back into the game a bit easier, but if Anya gets answered as well there's almost no recourse for ending the game with enough resources. With the Loid build, you could at the very least spam brainstorms and use Sylvia to chump attack while offering a way to get clean stock and extreme deck control so that you can get a turn or two of cancels to catch back up, hopefully getting your opponent to a decent position to end the game with Loids.

Needs to be on stage. If the required location of a card is not specific, it's implied that it needs to be on stage.
