Tip: you can actually grab the dragon egg (yes that's what it's called) by hitting the egg and make a piston to push the egg and breaking the egg and you have it in your hands! Hope this is helpful + the shulker is what made you levetate Edit: You forgot to fight the whither!

There is also a difference to grab an egg here a tip:punch the dragon egg and it will teleport somewhere and then you mine three block below and mine another one in front only one block and put a torch below and you got an ender dragon egg. That the easy way to do it you don't need a piston because is a wast of a material got it ;-;

End citys can spawn with ships but it takes a while to find. They have wings that you can enchant with unbreaking 3 and mending. Meaning you need to enchant books. Once you get them, you need a anvil.
