I like to picture the aftermath of a horrible containment breach to this theme. A team are photographing all these horrible things. Eight inch claw marks on the walls. Twisted and corroded walls and floors. Blood and viscera everywhere, but no bodies to be found. Flickering computer moniters showing more carnage. Hearing screams and gunshots from the lower levels that have yet to be cleared out. It really just sets the mood for horror.

Have to say, that'd be an interesting job within the Foundation. Usually in the aftermath of a mass shooting or terrorist attack (at least in the US), the fire department or law enforcement agency(s) will send one or two people in with video cameras and film a "walkthrough" of the entire structure, before the crime scene/forensic guys come in and start documenting everything. Imagining a 10 man team with video cameras moving through an SCP site filming the entire structure, walking slowly with a security detail would be an interesting thing tbh.

they consider giving him SCP status cause when he was working as a senior scientist (level 4) he did unauthorized research on spiral theory the idea of being able to predict the future and "reload after failure" hence why if you die you reload from a save the mtf realize this cause if they kill him he will just reload a "save" and do something else which is why in the end he gets captured and they debate whether or not to make him a scp *depending on the ending you got* so I made up a scp description for him SCP-9341 object class Thaumiel... containment not needed (see description) scp-9341 is a former senior researcher named [DATA EXPUNGED] who with out proper authorization studied an anomaly that most researchers here have come to call Spiral Theory the idea of infinite interchangeable possibilities after being caught and fired he was designated into being a d-class as a matter of fact his d class number is his scp number 9341 during the mass power failure leading to a mass containment breach of multiple Keter and Euclid class scps back in -/-/- scp 9341 is believed to be the only survivor that didn't make it to shelter to wait for mtf division NTF to secure the foundation upon questioning him during his capture he began to recall being killed by multiple scps but "respawned from a save point" due to his nature studying Spiral Theory it is possible he has become attuned to an ability of infinite choices with no worry of failure after realizing he is not much of a threat but VERY well worth studying we here at the foundation decided to classify him as Thaumiel he is not in need of containment as should he die he will respawn from what he calls "his save points" although he hates going through such tests he agreed to take up a role as not only a scientist but a class d as well as with him we can use him infinitely even with the likes of 096 after several test with 096 we realized that even if he respawns 096 will cease his fit of anger should he die after viewing its face now whenever 096 breaches containment we deploy scp 9341 with mtf armor and gear to capture 096 we have even used him for testing against 682 and after realizing that he has "infinite lives" 682 has began to fear 9341 as he stated in an interview when he met 9341 for a 5th time 682 swam to the corner of his containment and said "that filthy human is the only thing I fear....he might be able to die but no matter how many times I kill him he comes back it sickens me... I fear that he is the only one that can destroy me as he is the only one who can outlive me" after multiple moths of testing we also realized that scp 9341 not only comes back to life after death but reverts time as well...except everyone retains their memory thus making his testing very useful...scp 9341 has befriended most of the personnel at site [REDACTED] The only person who he hasn't be able to befriend is Dr.Cool who despises of him so much so that when ever they meet dr. cool shoots him on sight every time often spouting out "I SWEAR TO GOD ONE OF THESE DAYS I WILL FIND A WAY TO KILL YOU PERMANATLY " reasons to garner such hate is unknown ......should you be off duty or on break you can often find scp 9341 wandering the facility with who he regards as his "best friend" scp 999 the little orange blob of happiness seems to be nicer to scp 9341 than it is with most other subjects...not even the anger of scp 682 evoked this much happiness from 999 then again 9341 always walks around with a bag of MnMs so we should have expected such whenever he is questioned about the day of that mass containment breach...that's is the only time he loses his happy smile and droops into a dark sadness he describes " the fear of the unknown creeping around waiting to kill me" when asked if he knew about his supernatural ability he said "after about 4 to 5 deaths.....at least 3 of which caused by 173 that stone bastard I began to realize every time I died time reverted back and I was alive once more in my most recent and safest point" now that he knows of his power and what each and every scp is capable of he no longer fears scps except one ..173 the first scp to kill him so in a sense scp 9341 is one of our safest and most valued scps (some of our female researchers often flirt with him he is loved that much)

In Jacksepticeye's "The Do's and Don'ts of Horror Games" video he says that a horror game shouldn't let you feel safe for long periods of time and that you should only feel safe for a couple minutes or seconds, I think this game nails that aspect. This was the first horror game to really scare me! The sense of Dread mixed with the feeling that your always being watched is a good combination of feelings and this game did that perfectly this game always made me want to watch my back! Thank you SCP: Containment Breach!

This ambience is just as anomalous as the SCPs in this very game. Even when played with the volume level extremely low, playback of this will cause my speaker cones to resonate like nothing else I've ever seen before. At low-moderate volume levels, my speakers will resonate so much, that it's possible to hear the rubber cones flexing! A similar effect can be noticed through my set of headphones as well, where I can quite clearly hear the drivers flexing from the stupid amounts of resonance caused by playing this composition. I would say this has to be caused the sheer amount of reverb combined with subsonic/ultra-low frequency rumble and chords used in this track. Highly noticeable during the first part of the track more than anything else.

This nails what this game is perfectly. The amount of dread you feel when wandering through the seemingly endless hallways and corridors, fresh blood painting the floors and walls, knowing that something horrible happened there recently and that whatever caused it could still be around. The feeling of hopelessness as you walk, like all your efforts are for nothing, and the feeling of never being alone, because you know damn well you aren't. This is something I wish more horror games could nail, I'm so sad that the unity version of this game probably won't ever be finishes, because I was so excited to see scp CB make a return. All those feelings I described is what makes the scp foundation honestly the scariest thing I know, because nothing else has given me that feeling of complete and utter dread.
