I just watch this video and it works on a 2016 RT Limited. I was going to hook up a 12 volt power source for a battery tender. Now I don't have to. Thanks Pierre.

Stumbling onto this now - I have the opposite issue, I want the 12v to NOT be always on! 😂 Took me some time to sus it out - I have the 2010 RT as well, but there is no KEY vs BAT fuse to switch on the early model I have. I might just have to just replace the 12v socket entirely, and install one with a voltmeter + socket + USB and a switch to disconnect it to suit my needs.

It works like you show, on my 2018 Spyder RTL …but, I worry about the two USB outlet are always lite and could run the battery down. So, I put it back the way it was.

Thanks for yet another great tip/video. Does this fuse ONLY power the 12V cigarette lighter adapter on the 2014 RT or does is it also for any another port (the 30-pin ipod connection in the trunk, as an example)?

I tried this on a 2016 Spyder Limited but it didn't seem to make it hot all the time. Is the 2016 Spyder different in making it "hot" all the time?

This is super nifty! Thanks for sharing, Pierre! I have a 2010 RT SM5. The accessory plug in the rear trunk is always hot and I would prefer it to be off when the ignition is off. The array of fuses in the frunk is of course different than shown here. Is there some other means to exercise this flexibility on my 2010? HUGE thanks!
