Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Wharncliffe

I live in Colorado and I purchased my first Spyderco in 1979, I own all four versions of the dragon fly and this is my most carried Spyderco year after year. I call this the big little knife. Thanks for a nice review.

I find the Dragonfly knives are ideal to wear in Gym shorts. The knife is useful and will not drag your shorts off. Thx, Furbs.

If you can find this Japanese Seki City made knife and you like a small it's usually highly recommended. It's a super teeny little knife and yet still perfect for EDC as it's both lightweight and practical in design. I picked up one on secondary market and along with its big brother - the Delica 4 - it's certainly one of their better small knives from Spyderco company. I find VG10 a fine blade steel for most ordinary EDC tasks ....and the grip on the handle is extraordinary grippy. It's a similar kind of higher quality to the older Puma ones back in the 90s we had and yet this is lighter and easier to use to nearly any folding knife you will encounter.

£80 in the UK. Love the dragonfly’s but those materials at that price is a bit rich if you ask me.

I so far have not picked up a dragonfly. I am usually a fan of bigger knifes but with that big finger choil I think it would feel fine. Really enjoyed the review.

I wouldnt mind the wave version. I love my grunt. Even if it did lay me open pretty well on the tip of my thumb. I guess I havent learned to just let a knife fall yet😣😣

I’ll stick to my zdp 189 dragonfly a small knife in a shit steel will go dull even quicker then a larger one in real use

I mean unless youre some kind of bushman survivalist (and even then.. )...what can't this little guy do that you use other GI-NORMOUS blades to do in an edc setting?...especially in the new k390 steel? : 1. Pop zip ties all day ..check. 2. Spread a PB& J?....check. 3. Open or process cardboard boxes?....check. 4. The only thing I hate about these blades is also what I love about them...they are tiny and lightweight...and no for what? Let's just call it a $100 bucks a pop?....too easy to lose! The Delica is probably the better choice...

I have the Dragonfly Salt version which has higher corrosion resistant steel, but I can't tell the difference in it from the VG-10 that is in my Delica. I carry the Delica daily and the Dragonfly only in the summer Saturdays.
