Love mine. I too was very surprised with how great of a knife it turned out to be.

I like N690Co a lot for a working guy's knife. I carried a Fox karambit for years and used it hard. Also have an Enzo trapper in it that works well. It's surprisingly tough to be so basic and decent at edge holding at a working level. Good vid, thanks for it!

You give a different perspective in your reviews, very function-oriented, which I enjoy. I recently got a UKPK, which seems pretty similar overall, but I have not really considered the SpyDK.

Nice functional office carry. Have a UKPK in S30V which has been reground (similar knife). Nice vid! Knife is underrated!

Hey Michael, thanks for the quality videos. Hypothetical question: If you could only have one Paramilitary 2, which steel would you choose?
@michaelchristy49827 жыл бұрын
Nathaniel Graham if I could choose any steel, even one that hasn’t been used in a Para 2 yet, I would probably choose K390.

Interesting little knife. I generally prefer a larger knife, just personal preference on my part. Enjoyed the review.

James Miller thanks. I usually carry at least a larger knife and a little knife.

Hey Michael quick sharpening question again. My free hand set up has the dmt xcoarse, coarse, and then fine. Then I have the Spyderco fine and ultra fine. I see they say the spyderco f and uf are like 1800 and 2000 grit if they had to guess, but I feel it acts as much higher grits and I think you feel the same way. Anyways I want to get a waterstone to use after my fine dmt (600 grit) and before my fine and uf spyderco stones. Knowing that those stones are equivalent to much higher grits than what they say what grit would you suggest to go after the fine dmt 600 to get the scratch pattern out before I use the spyderco ones...or maybe some insight too on what you think the spyderco fine and uf stones are really equivalent to and I will get a waterstone somewhere in between the fine dmt and that. Thanks!

Paul Lonardo instead of getting a regular waterstone, why don’t you get a DMT XXF? Or a 2K Venev Diamond waterstone?

Also remember that Japanese waterstones and such use the New JIS abrasive size system vs the US ANSI standard, try and compare the micron size of the abrasive, some really diligent people have it mapped out pretty well online. Good luck!

Michael Christy I'm also thinking about getting a suehiro 1000/3000 since I believe I saw you using those so they must be decent. My free hand set up is growing rapidly so any advice will help. Always used my kme sharpener but free hand is a bit more gratifying and takes more skill. Keep the great videos coming!

MrWeedpeet thanks. It does polish really well. The cost is so low that it’s worth the purchase if it fits what you’re looking for.
