I'd go with the Polestar. I recently got the baby brother the Alcyone, I like that one more for EDC.

Still have not picked up a Polestar, can't see spending $60.00 plus for one. I have a tenacious and a raven as well as there little brothers the ambitious and the crow and they're really good small EDC in my opinion.

JOSE E PEREZ agreed. I like smaller knives in general. I do have the little brother of the Polestar and I like it the most out of all 3. But the Alcyone is $60. So it's a bit pricey for the size.

Shitty how much Spyderco has raised their prices in 5 years since this video especially on knives like the tenacious that if anything should and would be cheaper now had it been released by any other knife company but Spyderco has inflated sense of self apparently but at the end of the day I suppose it's us as the consumer who helps feed into that "shit don't stink" way of business spydie knives prices reflect. Great video and agreed the raven 2 is the superior choice here for sure and I'm glad that you and all the other people doing these comparison videos between the tenacious and even other cheap Spyderco models out there because I think it may help the Novice knife buyer to break the mold that if it has a logo of a Spyder on it, it is the best! Cuz even tho bryd is s subsidiary of Spyderco, it's still not largely known that a couple of their models (their best offerings) are in fact much better than the entry-level spydies, and the raven happens to be one of those better byrd knives imo.
