I bought this because I saw their ad on KZbin and foolishly thought KZbin would weed out untrustworthy advertisers. But no. When it arrived it was obviously poor quality. Installation was complicated, but I managed it, but then I tried charging it up. It takes 30 minutes to charge and the battery literally lasts only minutes. By the time you've put it up and looked on the app to see the picture, it will have run out of power. Given that it's sold as a wireless security camera, it's useless. After weeks of wrangling with customer service I did secure a full refund, though, on the grounds that it was not fit for its advertised purpose. I refused to pay return costs on the grounds that under British law, if the goods are not as stated then that's their responsibility. Eventually they accepted that. Their business model seems to be to make wildly excessive claims about a really crappy product which they must have bought for pennies, and charge top dollar in the hope that few customers will go to the bother of securing a refund. Whatever, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

@@amy-li6yr it's not worth your while paying to post it back to China. Tell them to pay if they want the junk back. I did, and eventually they folded. Look up consumer law in your country and quote it to them.

Like drones, glasses, torches and the like, this camera has one of those ads where they talk about "two non existent engineers" disrupting the industry You've no doubt seen these and covered them. They all seem to use the same script and just change the relevant words

They are probably banking on lots and lots not getting returned, that's why they are so cheap, best they still get to keep lots of money. And just refund the ones that get rejected. Completely legal hustle.

Yeah they exsist and the Spyfocus or CameraTrix are just that but dont part with anything less than $12.90...and if you want to gauge battery life then check out the battery life of the Go-pro Hero because you'll be lucky to get any more than 30 to 45 mins recording and thats just the way it is and this is from the best and probably the most expensive camera on the market..and it will connect directly to your smartphone andriod or IOS so you will not need an router or home wi-fi but it can connect to that too..This camera is no gimmick or scam just dont part with anything less than $12.90 or thereabouts..Good Luck..!!

what is enticing people is the advertised video you get in ad breaks. you get told this story how 2 guys refused 2 what ever million and privately invested in the best product on the market free of subscriptions . so is youtube part of the scam allowing that waffle of an add to be showed

Be aware of the scam, they give you one minute to cancel not one but 3 cameras and if you dont find the small writing to cancel 3 camera they charge you for 3 cameras.

I just received it today , I am a Senior lady ,but I have 4 cameras all different and I have set all of them up with no problem !! This i called customer service While ago , she said charge it more . I had charge it already like 3 hrs . She said it takes 6 , the app I have loaded 2 times . I should have known any that looked that easy on a KZbin commercial !! WASN'T. If I don't get it going tomorrow it's going back and on there dime not mine . Lol I said invest is something different to be safe .

I bought this product after seeing a KZbin video. It is a SCAM! The battery lasts minutes and the product is difficult to connect to the app. I wasted $200.

The spy focus I saw said it was only coming from their website, it is being mailed from China, but not bought on any website except theirs not Amazon

Hey brother, you're really doing this great little camera a disservice... unless of course you missed the discounted price, which means you pick up a Wi-fi camera for around £10 or $12.90 USD. The camera and its app really work, its got audio recording so its not dumb, and connects directly to your smartphone or home Wi-Fi via the router. As for battery life, not even the most expensive Go-Pro camera will give you much more than 30 minutes of recording time, and this camera can even manage that. but you won't even need it as the clever little camera works straight from a USB wall charger, whether the battery is dead or not. It keeps going and it even has night vision and continuous recording, and you can easily save everything on an SD card with the app allowing you to download all the saved video files...C'mon brother its time to tell the truth about this great little $12 camera..!!
