It's disheartening to see numerous videos of scammers from India, and I believe it's partly due to the high unemployment rate in the country, which drives people to engage in such activities. Unfortunately, India's law enforcement agencies often struggle to track down and prosecute scammers effectively. If I were to gather evidence and go to the police to report these scammers, I'm convinced that they wouldn't take any action against the scammers. Instead, they would likely harass me, questioning how I obtained the information and trying to turn the tables on me. They might even accuse me of being the scammer and threaten to put me behind bars. This is a common experience in India, where the police often target the whistleblower rather than the actual culprit. I can only hope that someday, our country will be free from this kind of corruption and deceit. I pray that God will bring about a change, cleansing our nation of these scammers and corrupt officials, and restoring a sense of justice and integrity to our society.

Love it! I've been wanting to dip my toes into scam baiting myself. Any tips? I've tried contacting scam baiters before but never get a response. Do you just set up a VM and route your network traffic through the Tor network?

Something that would be useful would be the ability to flag the phone numbers the scammers use and disconnect them. However, there's no mechanism to do this quickly. Since they're often toll free numbers, the ability to obtain those should require a little more authentication, and the ability to suck money from purchasers if they're misused. However, the US government appears to have no interest in blocking these for some reason.

Mailclients should start to display the real sender email address instead of these "friendly names" which the sender can spoof easily. This would reduced the success rate a lot. People would then see a strange looking email address instead of "Norton" etc.
