Exiting and re-entering should be valid, it just hurts the run time so you'd have to start again (unless you were far enough ahead of the current sparxless WR to compensate I guess)

to be fair you probably could have saved the fall in stone hill with letting go of charge and then a glide but it would be very close. if 1 had 2 and 3s hover then definitely a save but still close without.
