Jaw dropping. Brilliant. Tom Schuman is THE BEST OF THE BEST piano/synthesizer/keyboardist on the planet. Still trying to process Tom Schuman leaving Spyro Gyra after nearly 50 years to move to Europe with his bride. Spyro Gyra can't + will never quite be the same without Tom Tom Schuman is unique, playing , composition-wise, improv, personality...there is no one even close to Tom. However, Chris Fischer takes over as keyboardist for Spyro Gyra this month March 2023 +he comes highly highly recommended with a 2000 pound resume' plus he has Tom Schuman's endorsement! Getting back to the Piano Trio arrangement of Shaker song Scott Ambush absolutely jaw-dropping on bass guitar and Joel rosenblatt is an absolute monster friends with Dave weckl and they both came up in the Drummond Community right around the same time they saw weather report together and the rest is history. Scott and Joel are absolute monsters! This Piano Trio arrangement of Shaker song is so sick it's terminal!

Having caught this trio with the other members of Spyro, I can say without a dought they are absolutely fabulous. Saw Joel on Wednesday at the Blue Note as part as the Bernie Williama Collwctive. He is soooooooo good.
