After doing some listening comparisons, I think this version is still good. Still carries a sense of tension. However, I feel the original is definitely more intense due to certain sounds that are not present in the Reignited version. One of those sounds was prominent in the original version of Tree Tops.

The sliding, twisting hi-hat sample (you know the one) is really prominent, and yeah, a shame they don't use it here or are trying to replicate it by other means.

Real shame the opening drums aren't there. It was perfect for as Spyro flew down for the battle. And the bass isn't as loud.

Every single track on the remaster cuts off the first 1-2 seconds of the song. Even if you swap the music back to the original. The load-in is cutting off the music. Listen to this, and compare it to the original. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qInQpJWbZ7uXaNE
