For those who struggle with gliding here’s some hot tips: Actually hold down jump for a second rather than tapping it, it makes a huge difference in the height you get. Try jumping while charging at the same time then glide at the top of your jump, you’ll get further range. Practice over and over again hitting glide at the very top of your jump. Do this on the ground rather than from a ledge where you’ll waste time and lives. Make sure both Spyro and the camera are facing the exact direction you want to go. Adjusting direction mid flight shortens your range. Hope this helps.

30 lives lost to that egg chase and those firework platforms, and I'm still not sure if I got the last one because I saw the yellow gem and 10 but was blown back and transported myself asap to another level to not lose my last life. And I'm still at 94% on that level. So I'll have to go back. Buddy, Switch controls, they're Hard. But I'm learning. Charge jumping gets me to the first platform 75% of the time, so it's going better, but, God, I've died there so many times it got super frustrating

When I got to the egg thief, I chased him off the ledge, right by the dragon checkpoint, and thought I would try to catch him easier but going backwards. So, I came back around and thought I caught him but I think I broke him instead 😂I couldn’t take him out, either. But, it fixed itself when I went the correct way again. It was just weird and I wonder if that’s a common issue

This map is go goddamn glitchy. I've had stairs get stuck on glide, no matter what the mage did. Flew multiple times to that platform in the middle and the gate just didnt lower!

the wizard who lifts the block that blocks the way wouldn't move the block down. so, i just glided to the left and some how got there. weird though: i got the dragon on the other side and when he was done talking, i slid off the cliff on the right. it was so sudden, i thought i had to redo all that again and this was after many lives were lost. i didn't think the PC version had issues.

I got stuck here, too, but found that changing the framerate cap from 60 to unlimited got it to work properly, without needing it to chug at 30 FPS.

The egg thief if you go around the other way the game glitches out and he just stands there while.you roast him but it doesnt make him drop the egg.. U outsmart the game and get punished for it

If you still haven’t found them, I had the same issue, - in the beginning of the map the staircase that the green guy is moving- there are two chests hidden on the right side of it. I overlooked them way to many times, but that was the 5 gems I was missing.

Just fyi u don't need to go down to 30fps to get the platforms to work. You can also do 50fps
