For the people who dont know how to view the recording after usage, just take out the mini sd card from the slot , put it in sd adaptor and slide it in your computer or laptop slot and view your recording ...you can even slide the mini card into your phone if there's a slot for mini sd card 😉

Good review. Remember it can be a good camera for $10 depending on use. Example is to attach it to remote controlled toys like cars and drones. It will give good fun video for that.

Hello, I have a question. I tried your instructions. I pressed the power button and pressed it again to record, but the lights kept flashing for a few seconds and then it turned off completely. I checked the VIDEO folder in the SD card and there are no files in it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

THIS GUIDE DOESN'T WORK IF THE DEVICE DOESN'T HAVE AN SD/TF CARD IN IT. - TO TURN ON/OFF - press and hold the power button till the blue lights turns on, blue lights means stand-by mode (blue color light). Turn on the device to use the different features as follows. WHEN IT IS NOT CONNECTED TO ANY POWER SOURCE BUT USING THE BATTERY ONLY: - MOTION DETECTION - hold the M button for 3 seconds until a little red light blinks then disappears and motion detection is now active, video length is 10 minutes and 12 seconds per segment. To end motion detection is to tap M once. - TAKING A PICTURE - press M once for picture mode then tap power button to take a picture, to end it, tap M once and goes back to stand-by mode. - TAKING A VIDEO - from stand-by mode, tap power button and right away it takes a video, to end it, tap power button again, goes back to stand-by mode. WHEN CONNECTED TO CELLPHONE CHARGER OR POWER BANK: - MOTION DETECTION/ TAKING A PICTURE/ MAKING A VIDEO - you must turn on the device first! then connect the power cable to the device and the other end to the power bank or cellphone charger and follow the steps above. Still 10 minutes and 12 seconds long per segment for motion detection. NOTE: - you cannot use any of the features above when it is connected to a computer but charging only.

3 weeks, you were lucky, i ordered mine on wish, it said 30 days, after 60 days i got fed up waiting and got a refund, it turned up today at 3 months of waiting. I was told if it turned up eventually i could keep it. After finding out the dam thing only records for 10 mins i'm glad i got my money back, its pointless if you want to record long video.

How were you able to use it without the tiny memory card? This camera is confusing to use. I found this video helpful as well... the camera for me cost way more than 10 and I wasn’t able to use if for two years after purchase because it doesn’t work without the memory card! First review who actually did a night test, thanks, gives a good idea - perhaps next time also try without moving. It doesn't perform well in dark but decent for the price. Still I don't think it will record any car plates so not a night driving dashcam. Worth mentioning it also records sound. It does not work with Windows 10 but you can remove the sd card and use a card reader. However people online say battery life is only 15-20 minutes

Hey frankenfoam! Unfortunately as far as I know there is know way for the infrared lights to be on when the camera turns on. You have to select them manually :(

To turn on the motion detect mode: When the camera is on standby in either 720p or 1080p, press the Mode button for about 3 seconds. Both the red and blue LEDs will start flashing. For instructions on how to set up the date & time check the video description. Thank you.
