I have a doubt here.. I understood that we get all manager details after self join. But could you please elaborate how the employee salary from table alias e is compared with their respective manager's salary ?

You really came short on explaining the main concept of ON between self joins. You should have explained more on that. That's the substance of this video. Could you have not joined ON e.empno = m.managerID? If not, then why not? You should have spent more time explaining fundamentals/logic on both kind of joining options for ON statement. No wonder that I am the only one commenting as all other viewers must have found this extremely hard and would have left this video getting more confused and dumbfounded. I do like your tutorials and style but you really need to bake on Logic. Thanks.

Sad that you found this difficult. Point noted will try to explain in detail, but this video was not about explaining self join concept.
