Hi, I have a differential backup and transaction log backup done daily. After these, I did a Fullbackup. If I want to restore the database, will the option ‘Restore With Recovery’ using only the Fullbackup, the right one to get the DB up and running?.

Hello there do I need to have the existing database already available before the restore ? Or do i just have to create the database with same name then I can attempt the restore with full and differential

You don’t have to create the database, restore from full backup will create the database automatically but keep in restore mode until you are done restoring diff - if no further restore needed after diff, you can choose full recovery option to bring dB online and operational.
