Can I give a tip? When putting down marks for your own crew whenever an enemy tank has been called out and marked by other squads, don't put another "tank" mark. Put one of your squad marks, like the attack mark, because it shows up more readily in their vision and on compass with a range. It helps you have accurate range to that area as you approach, and keep the bearing with the turret if needed : )

Never played Squad 44. Purchased recently though. Tanking looks more fleshed out than HLL. Love that you can pop your head out as TC, extra MG seat and have dudes sit on top of the tank. Sounds seem more realistic and the damage model is more complex. Looks good to me.

Aw man its looking so good!! I haven't had a chance to hop into the new update yet but I'm so excited by what I'm seeing! If you ever need an extra crewmate or a 2nd tank I'd be more than happy to plan something out with you! I've been watching for a while and would love the chance to play a game together.

@@TheFreshBakedGoodsA lot of players just go and read the Tigerfibel and Pantherfibel when you want to learn the German tanks. All of the real life stuff from those books applies in the game. You could also take a look at some of the old Sherman manuals probably. Really useful info in them actually.

It has some cool concepts but the environment just looks like a sandbox. I enjoy HLL besides the bugs it has but if had those extra features for the tank like 44 it would be game changer

Honestly, I don’t. I’m sure I sound like a cringe PC master race guy but porting this game to console will just be the final nail in the coffin. It’ll force the devs to lower the graphics and reduce the amount of depth to suit a control scheme favorable for gamepads. Not to mention, we’d be lying if we said console players weren’t a MAJOR REASON HLL’s comms went down the shitter

It's sad to see how many people have fled from HLL. I understand why, but it's still sad. The random player base is just so hard to work with since HLL got on Game Pass. I do wonder if Squad44 paid streamer to switch (even if it's temporary). It's odd the big name HLL streamers all left at the same time. Raz, Fresh, Alpine, and Nano all left at the same time. It makes me think this, and other videos, are more paid adds, rather than honest gameplay. Are they going to show the quirks and bugs of Squad44? Are they going to praise the graphics, and not point out the lack of detail? I know I'm pissing people off on both side, but I'm just being honest.

Haha to be frank with you there is unfortunately no money being paid or no conspiracy as to us all "leaving at the same time" 😅 I'm just good friends with those creators and I forced them all to try the new squad 44 update with me We just have fun playing together, like any other friends playing games together 😅

Well ofc youtubers gonna go and seek other games for updates or content. Thats what they do to gain subs or likes and views. I prefer vade cause he exclusively posts s44 content. All others are just here to see the update and then leave as soon as it arrives.

Well HLL is literally shooting itself in the head (they’ve skipped the foot). Squad 44 has more vehicles, more guns, more factions (with early and late war versions in some cases), more fleshed out gunplay, more and bigger maps (debatably better paced maps that better suit gameplay rather and take inspiration from real places than simply copying them from real life) , way better armor system, better graphics, better sound design, better communication, more game modes including a way better airborne drop system, etc etc. Yes there’s a handful of noticeable bugs. I myself have seen way too many Airborne vehicles drive into the mined quicksand on the South side of Carentan. I think it’s just a better game and Team 17 is just gonna have to step it up I’d also like to mention that they are currently fixing the “lack of detail” issue which is basically only a lack of furniture, let’s be honest. As of the newest update, Mercury Arts has announced overhauls for the oldest maps and have plans to introduce even more overhauls after that. This includes redoing buildings, adding furniture, fixing bugs, and optimization
