@HKgunner O sorry mate my bad, its just some of these points were a bit noobish? i dont mean any offence. I do respect US troops greatly. its very different to how i have being trained by the ADF, we have the same formations but set up differently with the spacings, who goes where, terms, so forth. sorry if i have offended you at all i did not intend on that.

What is the difference between a rifleman and an automatic rifleman when both carry the M4 gun? Also what is a grenadier?Is it the guy with an m203 under his gun or is it someone who is carrying the M32 MGL?

In standard US Army doctrine the Automatic Rifleman is equipped with an M249. In the USMC they have either that or a lighter M27 IAR which is based off of the HK-416. The automatic rifleman is named as such because their weapon is almost always used on automatic fire for suppression purposes, while the regular rifleman is encouraged to use precise semiautomatic fire except in CQB situations. The grenadier is usually equipped with an M203 in the United States military, but any platform that performs the same function is suitable.

Don't you guys use AT teams in your squads or just go with disposables? Edges should focus on infantry heavy weapons as in the MG and AT. So is it MG exclusive in US?

I'm just a simple video game player, I play BATTLEFIELD 3 now, I want to create a team who are serious matures and teach them tactics like this. Cause I know it will affect on the victory in game. This is general refrence obviously so you would actually get what it looks like in real life. This is a general formation for moving in forest or plain when not in contact. When in contact formation may be changed depending on the neccesity. No point in being a smartass when you don´t understand what it is.
