You unlock a third seat that designates targets. you can use it with the guided missle to take out air targets or targets you normally wouldnt be in range to lock on to. also, the designater locking on allows anyone else to lock on to that target as well. its a soflam in a tank

I found that picking a couple of flags close togeter and working defending back and forth between them, will get you some pretty decent action. You don't have to travel very far and with a little patience, you can let the battle come to you. I went 66-20 on Death Valley by working between A and B.

I play on console, and I really enjoy the AK DLC. on conquest or rush.Sometimes the AC-130 can be a bit much. But overall I find that I usually get into really fun skirmishes, and the 24 man server forces me to play in a more tactical style. Keep up the good vids levelCap!

That way, the missile fires up, increasing chances the missile will miss objects in his line of sight (you can lock on to laser designated targets without a LOS). Also, it increases the chance of a top down strike of the missile (pounding the target on its roof, where there is less armour), increasing damage.

Well AK gives you Alborz and Death Valley for TDM, which are amazing, and some pretty good rush maps.

ACW-R or M4A1 are pretty much requirements for AK. I love the SG553 but it just isn't suited to the ranges on these maps.

oh yeah here I made the mistake to overlook the fact that consoles are basically some components thrown into a toaster chasis and they'll overheat untill, 2 days after you bought the damn thing, it''ll go up in flames. it'll have to be quite chubby to cool 2 video cards so ye you got a point there

Yesterday me and my friends were screwing around in a buggy not on armored kill just on regular maps and we would drive right through tank battles and at one point we were going max speed the dude in the gun turned all the way around unloading as a heli chased us across the map it was so funny.

Yeah max res for BF3 on PS3 and xbox both are 704p.... it just upscales/downscales to whatever your system is set to.

With your currenct PC specs, you'll have 20 to 30 FPS on lowest settings, which imo isn't very fluent for a fast action packed game like BF3. With the new PC specs though, you'll be able to play the game very fluent on medium settings. But replace the PSU with a good quality one of atleast 500W. I'd recommend a Corsair PSU.

it's your video card. That is a VERY weak card, so consider up grading to a 6850 ATI / GeForce 460 at a minimum. Your processor is plenty if it's sandy bridge i5, but also consider upgrading your ram to 8gb... that would be perfect.
