SQUAD ZERO - Still DISAPPOINTING or REDEEMED by the TYBW Anime? Bleach Episode 27 Post-Mortem

Now that the book has (probably) closed on the Zero Division's involvement in TYBW, there's one simple question left - are we still disappointed, or have they been redeemed? I've seen a few viewers noting they still feel letdown post-episode 27, so I wanted to give my take. How do you feel about Squad Zero as a group now? Could more have been done with them? still a disappointment. mainly due to how their bankai's are released and stating or suggesting that their bankai release can affect all realms, but if the Schutzstaffel Sternritters are the same level, how come their power doesn't affect the realms, also what about Ichibē? why doesn't his release shake the realms as well? the suicide pact for bankai release to me, was a massive error in the story that's forever gonna cause conflicts on how squad zero scales in power.

They've been redeemed about as much as they could have been. Changing any of their outcomes would have drastically changed the story in a way that I'm not sure I would've liked personally. Yhwach needed to win in the end in order to progress the story on its natural course, and to prove how formidable a villain he was. I'd say they got a proper showing in the end when compared to the manga.

Only thing that could've been done is to have them beat one or more of the schutzstaffel. But then a more important character that we've known for longer would get the short end of the stick with nothing to do in the following stage of the story. Which just can't happen nemu, nanao, mayuri, shunsui, toshiro, byakuya, zaraki, urahara, yoruichi, grimmjow. These are all more important than squad 0. So I agree theres nothing more than can be done. Nobody should be complaining unless they really hate some of the characters who end up fighting the quincy later on. Really the only fix to satisfy everyone would be to take more quincy up to the royal paalce so squad 0 can take them out instead. It's another case of despite there being so many enemies there needs to be even more because there are so many good guys who need to fight.

If Kubo wants to reiterate how strong Squad Zero is, then the next fight of Royal Guard against captains would be nerfed. For example Gerard should lose to Kenpachi's Bankai after Byakuya and Toshiro weakens him. But I doubt Kubo and the team would change more especially the finale against Yhwach was criticized by manga fans as well.

I think the way they handled the Zero Division in TYBW finally gave them the justice they deserved. For too long, they were relegated to a joke-a group with supposed god-like strength that was easily defeated off-screen. But the new anime content flipped that narrative. Their battle wasn't just a fight; it was a spectacle that made us finally appreciate their strength and sacrifices. They didn’t lose because they were weak, but because the deck was impossibly stacked against them. Their defeat had weight, drama, and a sense of tragedy, which felt like redemption in itself.

The show has become more like a joke at this point and this coming from a fan I watched Bleach 15 times and read the manga I love Bleach but these last 2 cours for tybw arc sucked for me the first cour was peak action and story telling these last 2 pailed in both story and action to me and its not the animatiors fault but Kubo. Sejumaru bankai looks like its power is to seal fates, they din't die in the bankai, they got sealed, and the things that defeats them inside the bankai is a reference and foreshadowing of how they will lose in the future, so sejumaru bankai worked even if yuha free them from it in that moment, their fates are sealed. The black sand swallowing pernida the name in japonese for black sand is a reference to mayuri.

I would argue the reason that Ichibei’s bankai doesn’t shake the foundations of the worlds is that he is in a similar domain as Aizen, due to Ichibei being a primordial being. Essentially, he is outside the system of the three worlds, so the only time the three worlds would shake in response to his bankai is if he was directly interacting with them using his bankai. Whereas the other zero division bankai have been integrated into the function of the world, so them being used is like if you pulled a load-bearing beam out of your house to use as a weapon

That's an interesting perspective, my understanding was that if the Zero Division's Bankai is like their will being imposed on the world, Ichibe's is the world itself His Bankai isn't disruptive because it's intrinsic to how everything works--his mastery over names practically means he's given everything its power/meaning

@@danielneverloses I think both of our ideas work together: Ichibei’s bankai doesn’t shake the world because it only affects the names he intends for it to affect, not the world as a whole. How I see it is that Ichibei controls 100% of his power, while the rest of Squad Zero are only the progenitors of theirs, which have since been integrated into the system of the world and improved in power through the Soul King. So at this point, them using bankai is leveraging the power of the Soul King, and hence the foundation of the three worlds.

When Ichibei unleashed his Shikai, Yhwach couldn't sense any spiritual presence from it, just like Aizen couldn't sense from Ichigo. Thats because Ichibei is on another plane of existence, different being.

I always thought of it as Ichibei being on a whole other plain of existence compared to them. Its like when ichigo fought Aizen and Aizen was like wait I can't sense anything from you. It's because he was on a whole other level and so much so that those that aren't on that level can't interact with them. As powerful as the other 3 members are I'd assume since Ichibei is quite literally a primordial being since he was there when the soul king was split up that he's that much stronger than them. Considering he has an ability in Futen Taisatsuryō that deletes you from the cycle of samsara it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest

They are 100% redeemed. The Sternritters only won because of the interference of Yhwach. They were revived after being wiped, and then had to receive even another power boost to handle them. I think that Senjumaru has the most versatility out of any Soul Reaper ever, the amount of uses her abilities have is incomparable to anyone else.

And it also helped us understand the comparative power level of Uryu as well, because, up to way after this point, he was know to be as strong as a typical quincy and most of the Sternritter were not typical quincies. The only indication that Uryu was stronger than we thought was The Jailer mentioning it offhand and we got to see it with his utilitization of Blut in battle to keep up with Senjumaru and showcasing how his ability is also a counter to strong opponents.

The way the anime treated them was LEAGUES ahead of their manga portrayal, and I don't mind them sacrificing 3 members for Senjumaru to fight alone, only for her to lose. That way, it makes more sense for Squad 0 to lose to the SS. But I STILL can't help but feel like the fight was rushed even in the anime. A fully unsealed Senjumaru being literally killed in one-shot still made them feel underwhelming. It makes sense for her to be taken off-guard by the Antithesis, but I feel like the fight ending by Uryu hitting A SINGLE arrow makes it hard to believe that Squad 0 holds the immense power they're said to hold. We've spent hundreds of chapters watching Uryu be outclassed by normal captains, and now after drinking some Yhwch blood, he's ONE SHOTTING a Squad 0 member, who's supposed to be leagues above those same captains? It kind of cheapens his progression throughout the manga, and makes it rather hard to believe that Squad 0 is THAT powerful. I understand that Uryu's schrift is the worst possible matchup for Senjumaru, especially with her not knowing about it, and expecting him to not have gotten that much stronger, but with her supposedly being on a whole other caliber of power, a single misstep costing her her life still feels a bit cheap. I would have loved it way more if the anime gave the fight 1-2 extra minutes, where Senjumaru gets gravely injured the first time the Antithesis is activated, then maybe misunderstands the power, and tries to counterattack, only for Uryu to outmanoeuvre her and take the fatal shot. But hey, they've improved so much on the manga already, so I'm still very excited and happy about that. They're very much redeemed in the anime, albeit incompletely.

Ywhach blood, Auswahlen which made the other Shutztaffel's capable of beating squad 0 and also Ywhach awakening the Almighty which saved Uryu and the other Shutztaffel from Senjumaru's Bankai and gave Uryu even more power. Basically the Shutztaffel got bailed out and boosted twice and in Uryu's case he got an extra boost to beat her.

I think Kubo wrote himself into a corner at this point in the story. He hyped up the Zero Division so much but at the end of the day they still had to lose to the Schutzstaffel for the story to progress the way he wanted, but he also couldn’t show all their schrifts and explain their powers because he needed to save that for their actual opponents. Basically the zero division had to lose without showing the reader any of the Quincy’s powers and there’s not really a great way to do that. The anime did a better job than the manga did but I think it was still somewhat disappointing. At the end of the day, the Zero Division still lost without even having a full schrift explored, let alone any Volstandig. Senjumaru’s Bankai was great, but it still leaves 3 captains without their full powers revealed.

Having those 2 bankai we got out of the Zero Division be really badass, but left all the quincy unscathed left a little to me. Like even if they all survived they should have taken SOME damage. Not just full healed like nothing happened.

Not only did they get assistance left and right, it felt like the antithesis was the one ability that could counter Senjumaru. People are getting ridiculous with powerscaling rn, but frankly Uryu had the one schrift that could counter this one situation perfectly. All of Squad Zero were obviously facing a bad matchup in their first scuffle. Hikifune fought someone that could destroy her plants, senjumaru couldnt pierce gerards heart, Askin uses underhanded tactics and can make up for the difference in power and Lille is a long distance fighter that can be situationally intangible against a swordmaster

I would have hoped to see more each of them, maybe a full on one on one fight between them like Oh-etsu vs Jugram where we get to see his shikai and bankai. Tenjiro going against maybe Askin and using his bankai, and Hikifune too. But I digress that doing this would probably have to make the Quincies show most of their powers which would spoil it before their big fights against guys like Shunsui so I'd say what we got is pretty decent.

This is the most we’re going to get of them. They have to be defeated and Senjimaru was very dominant in her Bankai. Like as much as her death was anticlimactic you kinda have to take her out in one shot. She would’ve kept putting more pressure on Uryu and was going to kill him if he didn’t use Antithesis. Maybe there was a better to kill her off but Uryu isn’t a flashy guy. He’s straight to the point and his victory over Senjimaru shows that.

Sure, but the fact that the zero division just kills themselves for a bankai that loses like that really puts them in question. Why couldn't the schutstaffel just kill the zero division because they are weakened and held back by the seal, and then have the last one standing use bankai now that they are unsealed? Would just feel far more satisfying and less like the writers just had the zero division kill themselves just to make the run time go faster. Just feels downright silly to me.

They were already in a bad position before they killed themselves so to guarantee victory they thought they needed Senjimaru alive. Who’s to say if that fight was prolonged Senjimaru would’ve died first? That would’ve made it harder to beat the Quincies since the other members of the Zero Squad don’t have a Bankai that is good against multiple opponents. It is silly but I’d rather have that than them not have someone use a Bankai at all.

I think the way by which Uryu did kill her off was disappointing in a manner. A straight arrow through the heart was cliche. It would've made more sense to see her being executed by the mechanics of her own bankai in order to display how much unforgiving anti-thesis is; even for one with reality-altering powers like Senjumaru

Redeemed unquestionably. We got a complete extension to the battle between the two, including new showcases of power/abilities including an anime-only BANKAI, which serves as both solid characterization for Senjumaru and plain meathead shounen fun. The fight also elevated Uryu immensely, which is great for a litany of reasons for not only him, but his connection to Yhwach and his Quincy heredity. Some fans will always be displeased, that’s just how these things work. The anime can add 8 episodes worth of new content in this cour and the next but some fans aren’t going to be satisfied with the arc regardless. That’s not to discredit whatever differing opinions that the fanbase will have towards the story and additions going forward, it’s fair to expect some debate or opposing perspectives over those sorts of things. But aside from nitpicks like the schutzstaffel not being more damaged after escaping Senjumaru’s bankai, which i agree with, the entire fight was elevated and very successful for the narrative. I don’t really see much more that SZero could have “done” without being elevated undeservedly above the rest of the narrative and characters. With the anime additions, they are now characters that serve a strong purpose in terms of worldbuilding, lore, and provide a great foil for the top villains of the arc that moves the story and narrative forward significantly. Which is all they ever really needed to be. In the manga, they were totally lackluster, but in the anime, their battle with the SS and Yhwach is a grudge match tug-o-war soaked in blood where the winning side shifts back and forth until the stronger side makes it out, which was going to be the villains from the start. The Zero Division’s downfall was their hubris, mocking the shinigami, clinging to their attachment to Reio that they use to paint themselves as divine and above the rest of existence, so they get their asses canned because they thought they could sit at the top of the world unchallenged for endless millennia with no consequence. But, at the end of the day they are as close to divine as any soul reaper can really be, so they won’t go down without a lengthy battle, which the anime delivered on in spades now. It’s a job well done by Kubo and the anime staff on this one imo.

I still cling to my theory that in the anime Senjumaru weaved the threads of fates such that the deaths of Yhwach's royal guard is sealed and set in stone. Like if she hadnt used her bankai on them,the outcome of their upcoming fight in the anime will be different but her using the bankai (specially on gerards heart) will have a lasting impact. That is pretty much where I am also at. That power would be equally broken as antithesis. To seal fates of your opponent. Because if that I not the case, I will keep seeing squad zero as underwhelming. The way I look at it is - if these squad zero people were so many times more powerful than captains in the lower grounds, how come they got defeated while those ground level captains came up - and defeated the same (or even more) buffed quincies without any squad zero level training (out side of byakuya ofc). Kubo put himself into a corner here with how he chose to proceed with the story. While the anime tried its best - I feel like someone in the production staff had the same idea of making Senjumaru's bankai be the indirect reason for why quincies get killed. They need to lean into the narrative that it was Senju's fate sealing bankai that had already dealt a blow. A bit like a curse status in a D&D campaign. If they haven't thought of this idea - then Senju's bankai was inconsequential and hence quite underwhelming. No matter the grand size and show behind it.

Well if I am going to be honest…the Royal Guard was somewhat redeemed…but it ended up creating a massive plot hole in the process. Because Regardless of what head canon bleach fans tried To use it makes no sense that them unleashing their full power could sake all three at once, when characters like Yhwach, Ichibei, Ichigo and Aizen who are way more powerful then them have never manged to accomplish such a feat. Which in turn creates a massive form of inconsistently in the narrative. Not only that but it puts into question on how powerful Senjumuru’s Bankai actually is…because if one reads the manga…none of the elite sternritters were at their full power when trapped by Senjumuru’s bankai.

The issue is that we don’t see more of the Squad 0. They’re hailed as stronger than the Gotei 13 and Senjumaru proves it with her Bankai shaking the worlds. But if it keeps coming at the cost of 3/4 of the members dying then it’s not impressive when the Quincy break out of it in half an episode and only have to deal with one person. Even if it was a buff from Yhwach they should’ve sustained damage from the attacks they suffered but Askin is fine, Lille isn’t filled with holes and Gerard and Jugram show no damage from the elements the faced. Almost like her Bankai was just for show and nothing else

I dont think there are people who are not pleased with it. Its just that, Squad 0 is expected to be better than the supposedly weaker Gotei 13 who come up and finish squad zero's job haha. That in itself is the whole problem. It will never be solved. You can feel pleased with what was added but still have criticism. I just hope the next arc (hell arc?) will be more thought through than writing something that puts you in this exact situation of wanting to backtrack but having no way out.

I'd say that squad zero has largely been redeemed. The only remaining major concern I have left with the arc is how Yhwach will be dealt with from a writing perspective going forward. In the manga, once he activated the Almighty he just felt like the villain equivalent of that kid at recess that had an impenetrable barrier and couldn't lose or be hurt because "I said so".

Yhwach and Ichibe are the only ones who fought a fully powered pre Almighty yhwach and lived, Its clear that Kubo and the story are showing that old man yama is superior to the 0 division bar Ichibei, at the very least yamamoto with both arms. He didnt put him as a special threat because he went soft showing he was still supposed to be in the list after all he didnt face him and all the other special war threats live up to their names down the line. Urahara saves SS with his brain multiple times during the war and stopped Aizen. Ichibei defeated him pre Almighty Ichigo defeated him with his prince later and is an Sk candidate. Aizen is well Aizen im sure theyll extend his fight also his reatsu is implied to have assisted the weakening of hell gates with SK yhwach. Zaraki almost killed a fully miracle powered up Gerrard on his first ever Bankai attempt after learning his swords name just few hours ago and 6 months later his shikai (with a reatsu negging eye patch on) is one shotting powerful threats and having Ichibe questioning if hes really just a shinigami.. This is the company which old man yama should have resided if he hadnt gone soft but we know 1000 years go he humbled Yhwach who is above the rest of the 0 division.

Both mayuri and shunsui questioned why they didn't shoot yhwach down while yhwach was making it up the royal palace, implying this entire scenario could've been prevented if 0 squad actually did their job like tenjiro bragged to soi fon.

i think its more accurate to say the blood oath seal was not a way to get rid of the other 3 members but make squad 0 appear stronger than the schutzstaffel even though they lost. The fact that 3 of them have to commit seppuku to allow one of them to use their full power means they only beat 1 member of squad 0. Probably if they had faced all 4 members at full power they would not have won. That's why the concept was introduced i believe. Important to note that both the quincy and squad 0 are only as strong as they are because they are drawing strength from their master being yhwach and the soul king. It makes no sense that guys like kirio would be at least 1/5 of the strength of the entire gotei when she was previously a captain in the gotei. They all must get a power boost somehow after they are promoted. So its simply a case of yhwach offering his henchmen more power than was allocated to squad 0 by the reio.

Hearing Hikunfe say “this is what you’d expect from a royal guard fight” felt like a hug from Kubo. He knew the original plot was a let down and fixed it. Senjamuru’s bankai reveal remains one of my favorite moments of the entire show. I only wish to have seen Oetsu’s shikai or bankai. Other than that 9/10 redemption arc.

Although the anime did elevate the zero squad and made it so much better and having the blood oath seal remove 3 members of the zero divison was a very clever way to get rid of them, I still feel like Uryu beating someone as strong as Senjumaru (or any zero squad member for that matter) is still a bit ridiculous. Her reiatsu literally shakes up dimensions and is one of the strongest final boss characters in the series only to get basically low diffed and killed by Uryu after she released her full power and Bankai... If Uryu was powered up by Yhwach (or at least made it more clear in the anime), or Yhwach's awakening somehow affected Senjumaru's Bankai, or even temporarily transfer the power of the incapacitated Schutzstaffel to Uryu to empower him even more then fine whatever, but I still feel like the zero squad should've been the final people Yhwach and his strongest team faced at the end of the series. With that being said, they did a tremendous job adding extra content in and there's only so much the can add whilst following the same path as the manga.

We could always presume the power and skill of Squad 0 simply because, they are the royal guard. but the Manga never really gave us a satisfying look into that (aside from ichibei), so the anime giving us what was sorely lacking is greatly appreciated. I thought the suicide pact is a sound way to not only have them written off (as you said it' pretty much an inevitability narratively), but also to give weight to Senjumaru's Bankai. we haven't anything like that before. it was something unique and added just an extra bit of intrigue an development to the operations of Squad 0 and what's expected of them. overall I'm just glad we got more. it was at the top of my list of additions I wanted from this adaptation. Each captain came across more badass than they did before so I'm not disappointed at all.

I feel like this new segment accomplished a few things. 1. I think it provided the zero division more threatening not only did they force Yhwach's guards to power up but it also showed us that they even had the potential to take them down in their powered up state. 2. It not only foreshadows Uryu's schrift through the titles potential double meaning but also through being the reason the bankai didn't work. 3. It gives uryu more development through this arc that he very much needed not only does it parallel his original fight with kurotsuchi but it also is his first kill of those who were around with the genocide of his people. I think this was an excellent way of concluding this fight.

Honestly the scene from the arrival of Squad 0 and them introducing themselves to the Quincy to Yhwach escaping the cage is honestly amazing. The music was perfect, Squad 0 had aura and Oetsu was amazing. That alone especially in hindsight basically announced that these guys were going to give us a show and they did. I feel like the anime made them live up to the hype while making their loss pretty reasonable by having them be nerfed as long as they are all alive. The way I see it, Kubo basically decided that all 4 of them at full power were simply too powerful for the Royal Guard, Haschwalth and Uryu to handle because of the hype he gave them, so, in order to not make them be disappointing but make them lose in a way that isn’t Yhwach saving his boys after beating Ichibe, he had to do this, and I think it was really well executed and thought out, although there was some plot convenience in Uryu awakening his power but that’s fine. A massive improvement over the source material IMO and pretty much the best we could have hoped for as far as additional material. There's no way we could have got every member using their bankai without a serious change to the story and dragging out the anime significantly. And considering what we know of each zero squad member, I think we likely got the most interesting bankai out of the group. Based on their abilities that we know of, the other squad members might not even have bankai suited for battle or at least battling that many powerful enemies alone. Even Ichibeis bankai is not REALLY something tied to combat. Obviously, it has it use in combat as we saw, but the ability to take away or assign a name to something is not inherently based on being used in combat like most zanpaktou we see. My only gripe with this new depiction is Senjumaru being killed by single normal arrow. Yes it was a shot to the heart but it just felt a bit anti-climactic considering the power levels on display.

I think they did the absolute best job they could while keeping the main larger story of the manga intact. They definitely spent a good deal of time showing just how broken they actually are (members having to seal their bankai, showing the worlds shake and feel Senjumaru's release). They even gave Tenjiro and Hikifune moments to shine, which I wasn't expecting at all. I think the main issue comes from the fact viewers only see how powerful the Schutzstaffel are AFTER the Squad 0 fight, so first time viewers can't appreciate how wild it is that this squad is able to put such broken Qunicies on the back foot for most of the battle. That's unfortunately a critique of the larger story though, so nothing the anime team or Kubo could fix in this adaptation. Nevertheless, incredibly impressed by what they pulled off.

The Zero Division most likely knows what Yhwach's true intentions are meaning they could've asked when Ichigo and his friends to stay and help them. Or he could've explained to the Gotei what Yhwach's true possible motivation is and helped properly prepare them for the future invasions. Ichibei should've done everything in his to try and stop Yhwach from getting to the Soul King and prepare the Gotei but no. He instead takes Ichigo and friends to the Palace, fuck around for a bit, train him and his friends to then send them back down to the Soul Society. He just sent 4 insanely powerful Shinigami back down when they could've been there as extra support and defend the Soul King. Considering how hard of a fight JUST Ichigo is going to give to Yhwach, they all should have been there. If Ichibei is revealed to know that Yhwach was there when the Soul King got mutilated in ep 28, then that just breaks the story even more.

I feel like kubo rushed the fight until senjumaru showed off her bankai. Or there were production issues.

I think the issues that fans have with this story arc all seem to center around its overall length. What I mean is that everything feels rushed in the story arc, and that is especially the case with the anime. The reader's / viewers don't have time to get to know and grow close to the new characters on either side of the war so the royal guard comes off as disappointing and the Quincy's all seem to be just generally unlikable. It was good to show that they could hold their own. The bankai explanation was also very good too because it never made sense why they didn’t use them in the manga. I'm not sure how you saw Lillie get immediately cooked the way he did in her Bankai and say Senjumaru was all show. Yhwach revived and saved them once again from being killed. That's more of a Yhwach being broken thing than anything.

most people dont even really know her Bankai works, if you defeat her the sensory manipulation seal is broken and you are free as shes not manipulating your senses anymore. So it makes total sense why you leave unscathed, if it kills you overtime remains to be seen but nothing from kubo suggests so.

I have a feeling that senjimaru’s bankai was used and chosen to determine the way that Quincy’s lost in the future which would be a dope payoff if you ask me and would add to the lethality of the zero division

I think Aizen not reaching the Zero Division is part of the problem. I'm left wondering whether they could've beaten him or not. If we'd seen them curb stomp him, then we'd know how strong they are. I'm inclined to think they would've lost (especially since we do see a bit of Aizen vs Yhwach) which means there is no redeeming them. The other problem is, by this point, the powers scaling is so weird it's really hard to tell how strong anyone is.

No way. Aizen stated that Yamamoto himself was the stronger of the two. The Zero Division are an indefinite amount stronger than Yamamoto himself. They would've beaten the living hell out of that version of Aizen, no question.

@@starslight-x3o Aizen said so before Hogyouku evolution began and saying the 0 division i(m assuming Senjumaru )is stronger than yamamoto is a stretch. ONLY ichibe and Yamamoto have fought Yhwach 1 v1 and lived, also according to the king himself only He could handle Yamamotos sheer power and non of the quincies could and like Aizen he too avoided fighting him head on. Also when Yhwach escaped the tree womb Jugram used the Balance stating and showing that they were incredibly lucky to not have faced Yhwach, whom again yamamoto had already defeated.

In my opinion they are redeem. BUT, I don't like how Uryu took out Senjimaru so quickly just because of some weird connection between him and All Mighty. It felt rushed and not really earned by him. Thats all.

Plus it creates an issue of how is the Gotei and the Zero division going to forgive him this time? In the manga, Uryu did jack shit so it made more sense that they were able to forgive him but now? Now he just killed a Zero division member.

"Squad Zero 100%, only Ichibei 90%" that was the meme for years, a serious issue in the manga, now, not anymore ✔️ The major problem of Squad Zero was that they lost offscreen while fighting at their best (as in the manga there was no seal), against the Schutzstaffels that didn't even battle seriously, also Uryu and Jugram didn't move an inch in the manga. Those 4 were FRAUDS for real, hyped as stronger than Gotei 13 and miserably defeated, when some captains later achieved far better feats against the same Quincies at max power 🤦 TBYW anime fixed them not only by adding more action scenes, involving also Ishida and Haschwalth, plus changing those "unclear wings" with Vollstanding, but the SEAL is what recontextualized their level of power. The showcase of Senjumaru's bankai, thinking that potentially the other 3 round the same level, changed everything. As you said then, the Quincies LOST TWICE to them, they won in the end but only thanks to both "A", two of the most broken abilities in Bleach 🅰️🅰️ Now, the only "issue" that's still present is the last one I mentioned above. We know that none of the Schutzstaffels used the 100% of their potential there. Pernida and Gerard didn't transform, Lille has 2 more stages of Vollstandig, Askin at least Gift Ball Deluxe, Uryu still doesn't master Vollstandig and Jugram didn't show it either. Senjumaru successfully trapped them, 6 at the same time, such a GREAT FEAT, but none of them was maxxed. Would have the result changed otherwise? Would have Kirinji being able to kill Gerard if he used the Miracle? Would have Nimaya's bankai being able to defeat Lille 3rd Vollstandig? These are some questions that will never get an answer ❌ Surely none of the Gotei captains would be able to take on all the 6 Schutzstaffels at the same time like Senjumaru did, but at same time some of those captains will show soon truly remarkable feats against the Quincies at FULL POWER 🔥🔥🔥 Squad Zero in the anime is redeemed for me, that some points will be always at debate is another matter.
