I was 6 years old this year living in Chicago. I’ll never forget watching the games with my family, my dad specifically. People going crazy all the time, the electricity surrounding this team, fireworks going off in the neighborhood after the game, getting goosebumps watching their intro, jumping up and down when they won with my cousins. I ended up going to a basketball camp in those years put on by MJ and got to play with him. It was like looking at God. I’ll never forget, I loved growing up in that era.

I still have this VCR tape somewhere..... I consider myself lucky to be a huge fan of the team during this era. Back then if a game was on TV that Jordan played in I wouldn't miss it. Some of the moves he demonstrated during the 91 finals really had me interested to never miss a game that was on TV because I became addicted to wanting to see more of what he might possibly do on the court. We all know the moves. The beautiful fade away shots, the jump up with one hand switch hands midair under around and over people sometimes even backwards flipping the ball into the hoop like some sort of bird who decided when he wanted to come back down to earth because he would just hang there.... Anyone remember that incredible free throw shot that was missed by his teammate so Jordan ran in and slammed it home turning one point into two? You never wanted to miss a game because you knew that you were missing a chance to watch the greatest player to ever play the game do what he does. It was incredible. It was awesome. It was Jordan.

Yeah for real. There's a reason why we all talk shit about everyone in the NBA not being GOAT or close. There's no one that matches what we witnessed. I wasn 't a Bulls fan (my big bro was) but I was a Suns fan cuz they were the opposing team in '93. That feeling when the Bulls are up against your team is something different. It's kind of like Shaq & Kobe, Golden State or Miami Big Three but not quite. You knew if your team fucked up 1 possession it was potentially over at any given time. If the Bulls happen to be losing, it never felt like it regardless of the score. The gap would close out and MJ would be right there to make that clutch play (not just game winning shots.) but plays that turn the game's momentum. One NBA vet said they were like sharks in the water and that was the truth. I felt that shit as a fan.

You should look for that VHS tape. I recently won a bid on an abandoned storage unit, and found an old VHS of the '96 Bulls Conference Finals Game #2 vs. Miami, and it sold for $75 (the winning bid on the entire unit was only $50). Collectors will buy damn near anything old lol. _I made about $400 overall on that $50 unit, if anyone cares. Bidding on abandoned storage units can make some decent money as a side hustle, once you learn what to look for. They just open the gate, and you can look in, but can't touch anything. Taped up cardboard boxes usually hold some good stuff, because usually, no one would even bother to take the time to seal up something they didn't care about._

I was heartbroken when the Bulls were eliminated a year before, but Micheal's return was a bit too late for them to come together like a championship team, then in 96, they returned in full force and Micheal was really back as the most dominant player in the league, and they just trampled the league and they beat Orlando in the rematch like a deflated balloon. That's why Michael Jordan hates about debating who's the greatest of all time the real debates is about the greatest team of all time

Just utterly magical, the Bulls won 87 out of 100 games throughout the season and postseason combined. That is just unbelievable and will never happen again in the history of the NBA. The 90’s Bulls were without a doubt the greatest teams in NBA history. MJ was a God and is the GOAT no doubt about it! The Bulls simply humiliated everyone in their path it was ridiculous. They were the oldest team in the league at that time, but experience outweighed age and that was a major factor in their conquest of two three-peats, six Championships in eight years, just utterly unprecedented!

Crazy thing about Jordan in 96 finals he averaged 27 in the 97 finals he averaged 32.4 and in 98 he averaged 33.7 this guy was getting better!!!! I really believe that they could have won every single trophy from 91-99 if Jordan never retires

I watched about every game that season at a family friends house that had all the channels while eating a snickers about every game. We were watching the GOAT/TEAM and didn’t even know it! AIR GOAT MY FAVORITE but KUKOC was key alongside WORM for the CHIP. BEST TEAM EVER.

27:19 41:25 Longley very rarely gets any credit. Massively disrespected him in "The Last Dance" in which he is non-existent. He was no Jordan, Rodman, Pippen but he was the starting centre and played his roll exactly as was expected. He's been all but forgotten and disrespected ever since. He deserves some recognition for his contribution.

Keyword: The *essence of what made them special. Some people can see and recognize why Time has allowed them to cross paths. While others aim to find fault, while squandering what was ordained (so to speak). This team definitely lost together and the ***chemistry that they had/formed, allowed them to earn every single win.

@TorrentFiend10 Жыл бұрын
Yeah it's funny but Michael isn't playing. He's super competitive and that mascot was mocking him with how he was standing. He was letting that mascot know to knock that off and get out of there. He was legit throwing a few medium hard shots to the mascots head. The mascot blocked the first one and then kept walking because he pissed off michael. Michael probably used that anger to go out and score like 40 points that night. Good job mascot. Michael even threw a shot to the back of the mascot's head while he walked away. Cheap shot!
