Doesn't look like this is gonna age very well. Crytek is outta the way, PU is making huge progress, SQ42 has been far along for a while now. Should be out by 2021 winter at the latest. If anything, the first "episode" or two, so they can add more as they go, if they want to take that route. Most of the design and content looks like it's pretty much done. Seems like it's just a lot of polishing functional things these days.

Kingdom Come Deliverance does this NPC integration with story transition really well. The NPCs will literally run to the location if they need to get there at a certain time. I love that AI these days are feeling so authentic.

Not to hype up anything but I did notice on the Road Map that Squadron 42 task are pretty much complete with the task left on the road primarily consisting of bug fixes and visuals wear/damaged on surfaces. I have a question/comment about subsumption AI.... How truly detailed is it going to be.. or perhaps I should ask, how 'smart' is it going to be? Two examples of what I am asking.. 1) crew members working on stations, around ships etc doing their thing... will there be accidents where they are injured, medics respond and they are taken off to get care.. or even to the morgue? and 2) battles.. will NPC's who fight in battles and take wounds, also be smart enough to pull away from the line to seek medical attention, seek medical care once a battle is done, or even restock ammo and gear that they used up in the battle? and finally 3) will there actually be 'accidents' that happen like in real life? i.e. someone walks in front of a fan or vehicle and is injured, or maybe a deck hand gets to close to an arrested landing cable or maybe the jet blast from a ship taking off?

Don't know about those specifics but I do know that if you go to a bar and the bartender walks up to you and asks you what you want, whilst he is serving you if a fight breaks out he will have the ability/choice to stop dealing with you, sort out the fight and then come back to finish dealing with you. So yes, quite believable I think.

Since it is near impossible to get a question answered in Spectrum by actual devs sometimes (the voting system leaves a lot to be desired especially if the question is behind thousands of others), and since this video pertains directly to my question, it leads to using both as a place to pose the question.. better chance of it being answered.. as it is on Spectrum, I get a lot of answers... all from other backers that seem to think they somehow have the inside track on what is actually being done and how it all will work.... my question is for the actual devs because they are the only ones that can give a definitive answer.

Hey CIG. Lovely interesting update. That said, for a number of ATV updates now, there's been a very distracting and almost slightly painful background whine/feedback in the audio in some of the UK segments. Just thought you might want to know, in case you hadn't noticed for some reason.

Here is a question: in Elite Dangerous you have tonns of hardware upgrades but almost non of them change ship's appearence. Except guns. So guys, does someone know in Star Citizen will it be possible to change ship's exterior (engines, wings, shape of ship's body and so on) with upgrades?
