Boondoggle! we made these at summercamp in upstate NY as kids (camp nazareth) fast fwd 40 yrs and asI took an interest in boat building and of course related knots and rigging, I came across a bk I highly recommend with some pretty amazing stuff in it. the Ashley bk of knots - the bible of hammock making net making ALL rigging, decorative stuff like sinnet, rope sinnet which above is an example of. wonderful book. Making a large landing net for salmon and halibut. great resource. also freedom of a bird youtube series for maikng landing nets.
