Hi there! The fee is deducted directly from the transaction, so the amount that you receive in your bank account will have the transaction feel already taken out. You will not receive a bill!

Thank you for this video, however it didn't address a couple questions I have for my business. Sounds really good for restaurants and online stores, but what about service work? I need an online store to rent equipment, calculate mileage and charge and calculate labor. I have a really complex cart system and was using WIX but they were insufficient on my needs.

We'd encourage you check out Shopify as e-commerce features are really their bread and butter. This has been a sticking point with Square for a while now. Square currently only offers this feature in beta for Square for Restaurants. This is a great overview for the most part. However it’s wrong to say that square might not be a good fit for folks that are doing 250k more, this may have been the case in 2015, but come on… I mean Square processes millions of dollars for publicly traded companies and it’s pos solutions are really good for single and multi-location businesses that are doing 5-10m+ on a per locations basis.

You can certainly still use Square if you're a higher volume seller and may be able to negotiate favorable custom rates but, generally speaking, you're likely able to find a cheaper processor elsewhere once you reach a high level of sales. Hey, Evelyn! You can take payments from accepted cards all over the world assuming your account was opened in one of the countries where Square operates. Those countries are currently the U.S., Canada, Japan, UK, Australia, France, Ireland and Spain. However, Square hardware is only approved for use in the country for which it's intended.
