I’m trying to puzzle out how Blackstone did the 3 dice trick, cuz for instance, Reggie could have rolled 3 sixes, which would have been 18, and then his total would be higher than 16. This is a tough one to figure out.

On a six-sided die the numbers on opposite sides add up to seven. Reggie rolled three dice, added the number on the bottom on one die and rerolled it, so Blackstone added seven to the three numbers on the dice.

Blackstone wasn’t completely blind - he looked at the dice as they were in the end and added 7.
