I have a doubt , why it is not 47? Cuz we got 3,7 or the last digit and as 18 is greater than 16 we have to choose 7 na ? Can u explain plz..

Now to choose greater or smaller number we multiply the number with the next number , like in this case the number is 4 and the next Is 5. So , 4*5 = 20 ; which is greater than 18 . So we choose the smaller number

But don't try this trick in a non perfect square root number , it will give a wrong answer. So firstly be sure that the number you want to take under root is already a perfect square. I have tested it.

Can any please tell me how square root of 1849 comes 43 .... As 9 can be last digit of square of 7 or 3 and 16 is closest square of 18 now of we multiply 4 with 5 then 20 comes that is bigger than 18 so we put 7 na instead of 3??

No no no, you just have a mis-conception. The product of 4 and 5 will be 20 and now the first 2 digits of the number i.e 18 is smaller than 20 hence we chose 3 instead of 7. Thus the under root is 43. But don't try this trick in a non perfect square root number , it will give a wrong answer. So firstly be sure that the number you want to take under root is already a perfect square. I have tested it.

This rule fails when no. is not a perfect square and by this method we will be not be able to find square roots in decimals. E.g. √4361 = 66.0378 not 69 💀💀
