Squarebody LS Swap cooling system.. Radiator, condenser, fan shroud, and Spal electric fans

I was able to get my core support painted and installed. I then added the condenser, radiator, fan shroud and 2 electric Spal fans. AC system up next.

Thanks for the support. It’s so helpful having that Tejas Guide. It’s running but needs to go to the exhaust shop so I haven’t driven it anywhere. I wanted to see how it hold up as well. If it doesn’t I’ll pull it out and powder coat it back. Good luck on the build!

So the stock water pump won’t work with the tejas set up fans ? Water hoses don’t have the same location? I’m thinking to switch to the spal and Tejas set up thanks

It will work with the stock water pump. I just like the placement of the LS3 pump.

The radiator sit lower than factory an the factory brackets to small for the radiator. How I came across your channel. Great content, new sub

I’m running the same set up with the Tejas fan shroud and the spal fans on my 87 GMC C15. I can’t figure out how to bolt the the bottom of the shroud in with the two tabs that come predrilled. Did you bolt those bottom tabs in? If so could you tell me how you did it or did you only bolt the top of the shroud?

@@victorcarreon7800 I called and spoke with Scotty from Tejas himself and he said to use the factory U-nuts that head the original fan cover to the radiator. My U-nuts had broke when taking them off so I bought some from lowes. I haven’t tried them yet so not sure how it’s going to work. I see where he bends the tabs at the end of the video and that might be what I’m missing
