All I kept thinking was “This is real, this is real, this is really real!” Such a heroic return to our favorite characters, alongside the names of the real-life heroes who made this dream of a game come to life. Just like Cloud’s emotional state during this part of the flashbacks, this track reminds me of the times when my life was more stable, when my friends and my lover were right there with me. All together enjoying the little moments full of illusion and still with dreams to fight for, totally oblivious to what was about to happen the following months. That was my Nibelheim.
