I'm HERE for Crisis Core. Such a good game and I am so relieved to see it coming to the new gen. It deserves its spot!

Crisis core was a bad FF game filled with nonsense and narrative flaws. It completely devalues the events of the real FF7. It was made simply to boost sales of the PSP and was made for no other reason. Like Dirge of Cerberus it is a narritive disaster with silly gameplay mechanics designed to hide the limitations of the PSP. Rememeber the awesome scene where Cloud met Aerith in the church? "I know, lets have Zack meet her in the exact same way and never mention that detail ever again". Lets introduce a silly villain named Genisis who has no place in the story? Lets kill off our main character with grunt Shinra soldiers. Trash, Trash, Trash. If Evere Crisis is now canon then FF7 remake part 2 is going to Suck.

I hope the final part of the remake comes out before the release of a PS6. The scenario I think of is the latest Halo trilogy. 4 came out on Xbox 360, 5 on Xbox One, and Infinite on Series X. It’s frustrating to have to buy a new console to enjoy the next game in a series. That’s why I hope we can all enjoy the full FF7 Remake trilogy on the current generation of PlayStation.

I literally cried when I saw that Crisis Core was getting a remake!!! I still have never played the original FF7 but Crisis Core is in my top 3 games of all time, but I'm so saddened by the recast of Zack's voice actor. I really don't know if I can bear it. Maybe if all the lines of dialogue are the same, someone can mod the original voice lines into the remake. Zacks voice is iconic to me

I've played Crisis Core so much, and the remake should be a dream come true for me, but I honestly don't think I can take the re-cast. His old English voice was perfect. What a shame to see how little value is placed in performances of Western voice actors. JP voices are never re-cast unless it's some earth-shattering circumstances. Ugh!

And rebirth really looks even more like a completely different yet intriguing take on the story, as they could still go with the AU route, or completely do something different, and reveal that the aerith that is in remake turns out to be Genova in disguise or smth wild. This was such a let down. Played original too many times and still got my original copy for playstation. They've saturated the FFVII name with ffvii this and ffvii that 🤑🤮🤧🤬 all i see is a cash cow being milked to death. Also take note of part two's title "REBIRTH" it loses the REMAKE title and becomes rebirth. Meaning what was a retelling of the story now becomes a new story and I bet they do not kill Aerith off. So we all got duped into thinking this was a remake but it's only the first game that actually follows anything from the original. Part 2 & 3 will be some crazy Disney nonsense. 🤪

Members of the Dev team were fans of the original game, meaning, they're the same people that had been theorizing on the "secrets" to reviving Aerith, etc. Just like everyone else. It was just a showcase of what they have at the SE store for anybody who want to buy FF7 related items...they weren't forcing you to buy them dude. About the mobile games, the first one was showcased for its update and an upcoming tournament for the people who are playing it (personally, I think this game is a waste of time and money). The 2nd one is something I think should at least catch your attention, since FF7 is your favorite game of all time. This is what Ever Crisis will bring, - A single-player mobile experience, the game reimagines the timeline of Final Fantasy VII and the Compilation. - Planned to be released in monthly episodic installments, the game retells events from the 1997 video game Final Fantasy VII, and all canon titles in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII media franchise: the movie Advent Children & the video games Before Crisis, Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus. - Nomura described Ever Crisis as an alternate remake of Final Fantasy VII. In addition to remaking the original storylines, original scenario writer Kazushige Nojima incorporated new material including the backstory of Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier and stories from the childhoods of various Final Fantasy VII game characters. If anything, Ever Crisis seems to be a remake that's closer to the original 1997 game than the actual remake for consoles (also this will bring Before Crisis outside of Japan for the first time).

@@JoshWiniberg I heard that the battle system is the traditional ATB with some added Crisis Core elements to it. I think the reason why they made it for mobile is probably because this remake might clash with the other remake, if it was made for consoles. Also, retelling every single game from the compilation all at once + more, could take a lot of more time to make requiring more manpower that SE might not have right now. Making it for mobile helps them go thru the compilation one piece at a time, with having a lower budget attached to it. If it becomes successful and they complete the whole compilation, they might make a port for consoles & Steam in the future. I'm hoping SE does that, since I'm not really a fan of mobile gaming myself (I don't hate it tho, some mobile games were helpful like Re:Universe for the SaGa series, which helped fund the remaster for SaGa Frontier 1).

I remember playing this in 98 without knowing what the game was about. I couldn't get past the scorpion boss for some tries so I left the game aside for months. I then started playing MGS and I loved it. Right after I finished it, I gave another try to FF, beat the scorpion and played like a maniac for 80+ hours until I finished the whole thing. The Ruby weapon fight was the most difficult for me. Whenever I hear that music, I just travel back in time. Good times.

The theories I've seen is that this is Sephiroth trying to change the outcome of the first game, like he knows what happened and wants to change it

@@moshpitfuneral In the books, Sephiroth can only come back via Cloud's memories. I kind of wonder if this is him using that to come back into the past and messing with stuff. So there would be the actual Sephiroth of the time and then future Sephiroth going back in time.

Played a few FF games when I was like 12 and forgot about them a bit. I started playing Ff7R thinking "I wonder if this still cuts it for me" as I expected a form of turn based gameplay / random battles and I hated that. 200 hours later after getting platinum on the gradual increasing rollercoaster ride that is FF7R, I thought it was probably the best game I've played since TW3:HOS/B&W. So excited for part 2!!

So the new stuff is more FF7 Battle Royale Mobile game content (already out), FF7 Remake Ever Crisis Mobile game content coming out late 2022, Ever Crisis Remake this winter (2022) and will be on PS4, FF7 Remake Part 2 next winter (2023), and finally a part 3 announcement meaning the entire remake will have 3 parts. So much new content for FF7 Remake and I'm here for it.

its a restart and won't carry over its gunna play out like if its a brand new game with the same name ff7 part1 was capped at 50 so thats a little high considering the fact that when you escape Midgar in the original. your like a level 15 or 20 so level 50 is a bit much its obvious well not be keeping our materia and hard work from part 1.

@@SleepiZero Maybe we get all materias we got from the first game but level 1 and all weapons skills. But characters levels would considerably be an issue.. maybe they will set all characters at level 50?

I was introduced to ff7 in late 90s back then I was 15 i think got hooked to it then later in my life I played ff8 ff9 and ff10 and all of these wer brilliant, i feel being in the ff world is better then the real world, i get emotional.
